Saw this nice two-door barge on Monday, a circa 1977 Chrysler New Yorker. Saw it in the same spot two years or so ago, but finally got a photo.

69-70 Chevy long-bed stepside pickup.  There was a big bowtie stamped on the tailgate and the rear fenders were 55-56 style.

Some camping trip sightings. Saw an old '80s Chev plow truck parked behind a store on the highway, but then also saw a beautiful 1972 Suburban at Sand River (roadside rapids attraction) that I have seen at car shows back in town. And a '34 Ford coupe was camped out at the campground; an older couple came from southern Ontario drove just that car all the way up here and then are heading back. The guy said he built 20 of those an then finally built one for himself, as was this car.

Wish I'd gotten a picture, but on the frontage road today a Tesla Model 3 was in front of me. He went through a small puddle left from the rain and the car came to a stop. The puddle was only an inch deep. Is that a common thing? A couple guys in cars in front of me jumped out and helped push it into a parking lot. He said the water must have shut something down. He was waiting on a tow when I passed again.

I'm going to come down on the side of it being a full size pickup that had the bed swapped with one from a much smaller pickup.  Either way it looks odd.

I didn't notice that but it very well probably is the smaller shallower bed throwing of the looks.

Nah, just an '80s Chevy step side that has been lowered and has larger wheels and tires.

Yup, 100% correct. I was probably 75-100 feet away when I took the picture, only now am I realizing I does look small from that distance. Maybe we've all become used to today's oversized trucks, and everything old looks tiny now.

Went to the metal dump today and I swear I saw a 1967 Beaumont four door atop a pile of other cars awaiting the crusher. Couldn’t 100% tell because there were other cars around it, and I saw it as we were leaving, and I can’t see too clearly from a distance that far without my glasses, but it was definitely a 60s car of sorts.
