stavanzer Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Pat, it's too long to fit in my garage too. And I have a standard US Two-Car Garage. 1

Tim W. SoCal Posted September 26 Posted September 26 I was driving a work truck so I couldn't get a pic, but saw a like new Nightwatch Blue '66 GTO Convertible in Spring Valley, CA. It looked like it even wore Hurst mag wheels on all four corners. 2
Falcon Ranchero Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Remeber the '69 Nova from last fall where I made that thread about whether or not I should choose the Nova or a 1988 Lincoln Town Car? Long time ago now but I've been seeing what appeared to be that Nova, but with nice polished paint, and a new vinyl top; it looks like a million bucks. Saw it up close yesterday but couldn't get a photo right away (was driving). but I got a photo in the rearview mirror at a stop sign. Blurry photo so you can't tell how good it is but you'll have to take my word for it. It's nice that someone bought it and actually made it nice. First photo is of the Nova last fall, though you can't really tell, it has a dark brown vinyl top. Last photo is the one I got yesterday; it has a light beige one now instead. Not sure if the engine has changed, just a 6 cylinder as far as I know. 3
89AKurt Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Yesterday I saw this in the construction traffic jam. Used to hear it every day below me, always full throttle, then nothing for awhile, then heard again but restrained. Must have moved, haven't seen/heard for some time. 1
dave branson Posted September 26 Posted September 26 what I seen yesterday. The Mustang ranch is just south of Sand Springs, AR. Camaro was in Branson, MO 1

crazyjim Posted Saturday at 07:56 PM Posted Saturday at 07:56 PM Thanks Rob. Never heard of it but I like it.
mk11 Posted Monday at 04:05 AM Posted Monday at 04:05 AM (edited) Lest I appear to be just a chevy fan with my pics, it's really just a case of hardly ever seeing old Fords or dodges cruising around. Spotted near a road, getting ready to mosey on over to pick up a wedding party destined for an outdoor ceremony yesterday near the trees in the background. Ain't love grand? Falcon Ranchero Posted Monday at 07:16 PM Posted Monday at 07:16 PM On Friday I saw what all season daily driving does to a mid-80s GMC truck here in town. Saw the truck around for the past 4 or 5 years but never got a photo of it, until a few days ago. So crazy rusty, when it turned I looked back and the box was swaying from side to side. I swear it's been on the road every day of the year since like '85. And today I took the longer way home past my old highschool to see if my friend's younger brother's car was parked there, and sure enough, it was. Parked it in the next lot over from the school lot though, which is a smart idea. It's an original paint, original Soo car, 1969 Chrysler Newport.
Falcon Ranchero Posted Tuesday at 10:04 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:04 PM Yesterday we went to visit that car guy that has the '68 Cougar etc. because he had just come back from a swap meet in the states with 2 trunk emblems for our LeMans. They don't exactly fit because they're for a '67, but it's such a close fit that we're going to make them work. Better than paying 100$ for one off of OPG or other aftermarket suppliers only to get a repro part. These, while not for a '69 are real deal '67 emblems. I was able to get better photos of his Nova, plus he showed us some other cars he had stashed away in other garages that he didn't show us before, namely an original paint 1964 Chrysler New Yorker that I had seen around before but never knew he had it. Also it turns out he has a rare Willys Whippet. Both cars were in separate garages with old tractors. Couldn't get a great photo of the Chrysler but I have photos of it from a car show in 2023. 1
