Radretireddad Posted October 22 Posted October 22 I finally attended a cars and coffee where I wasn’t the only guy there with an English car. 8
The Junkman Posted October 22 Posted October 22 A well used but not abused 1959 El Camino, white over a multi-patterned green. Calif license "59 LKEY"
bobss396 Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Well... a parking lot is sort of a road. We were out at Montauk yesterday and right next to where we ate was a boat yard. We got to watch this large boat being picked up and moved for winter storage. 7
89AKurt Posted Thursday at 03:53 AM Posted Thursday at 03:53 AM Fuzzy telephoto, but it is a C-10 at the end of a road, on a ranch. Didn't see any other pickups.
A modeler named mike Posted Thursday at 10:24 AM Posted Thursday at 10:24 AM (edited) I first saw this coming up from behind and thought intriguing. It had been updated with oracle headlights. It ended up being in really nice looking Duster but very mild sounding. Edited Thursday at 10:25 AM by A modeler named mike 3
A modeler named mike Posted Thursday at 07:23 PM Posted Thursday at 07:23 PM Another sighting, this time heading to the graveyard. I was just visiting, no intentions of staying. 5

Suburban_Hooligan Posted Friday at 12:46 AM Posted Friday at 12:46 AM these have been outside of a warehouse by my work for a while now. yesterday i noticed they moved them to the other side of the warehouse where they were visible. under the cover behind the impala is another impala of unknown year (65-68 based off the fastback silhouette). and unphotographed was a mid 70's Trans AM under a cover behind the Duster. 4

sfhess Posted Friday at 03:50 AM Posted Friday at 03:50 AM 64 Impala hardtop out cruising. Jeep Gladiator with an iridescent pink wrap.
The Junkman Posted Friday at 02:04 PM Posted Friday at 02:04 PM Late model Bentley convertible in a screaming Chartreuse at a car wash. Wealth ≠ good taste. 1
TarheelRick Posted Saturday at 07:28 PM Posted Saturday at 07:28 PM Going to the "Toy Show" I saw a modified school bus towing a late-model wedge style dirt-track racer. The bus had the forward half section of the roof raised for better headroom. They were headed north on I-77, not sure where they could be headed.
89AKurt Posted Sunday at 06:06 AM Posted Sunday at 06:06 AM Here is on, and OFF the road in one! And not just any car. 😳 It's at the top of Yarnell Hill on 89, going down this curve is almost a negative camber, plus a naturally squirrelly car, another Cobra was with them. Driving with idiots on the road too doesn't 't help. 1
bobss396 Posted Sunday at 11:39 AM Posted Sunday at 11:39 AM My brother spied this the other day, only $13,500 and it can be yours! 4

I would so spend $13,500 for it. Can’t beat a ‘59 Ford. Like how its not the skyliner, just the regular hard top. Edited Sunday at 12:06 PM by Falcon Ranchero 1
Falcon Ranchero Posted Sunday at 12:56 PM Posted Sunday at 12:56 PM Went away for the weekend, saw some nice Ford cars, a '64 Galaxie, '63 Thunderbird, and a circa '76 Lincoln Continental. The Thunderbird was for sale and I had seen the ad on marketplace since last fall. It really is a nice car, not sure why it's having a tough sell. Was $17,900 initially I believe, but now it's down to $9,000. 2
Falcon Ranchero Posted Sunday at 01:08 PM Posted Sunday at 01:08 PM Also saw this wrecked '69 Fury. Couldn't get a photo so this is a screenshot from google maps from July 2025. There was also what appeared to be a '69 Chrysler two-door in similar (worse maybe) shape that wasn't there in July 2025, so no pic of that. 1

Hmmm..either it was very rusty underneath and split naturally or when someone tried moving it, or when it was still driveable someone was playing Dukes of Hazzard... 2
Rob Hall Posted Sunday at 04:45 PM Posted Sunday at 04:45 PM Forgot about this, but in traffic on Friday saw a white RHD Honda Today. Tiny car, looks like a shrunken 90s Civic in profile. Like this: 1
sfhess Posted yesterday at 04:23 AM Posted yesterday at 04:23 AM I saw this yesterday near my home. It had a "Continental" spare. 6
Falcon Ranchero Posted yesterday at 11:51 AM Posted yesterday at 11:51 AM Saw a '55 Century for sale; was parked out there last year about this time though wasn't for sale then. Had to get a closer look this time. Apparently, according to some words on the for sale sign, it's been a one owner car for 40 years. Definitely shows it's age but wow it'd be nice to clean up and take to a show. My dad actually remembers the car from the college parking lot back in the late 80s. Says he might have a black and white photo (or at least the negative film) of the car he took for some obscure photo assignment back in around '87-89. Would be neat to see. 6
bobss396 Posted yesterday at 12:08 PM Posted yesterday at 12:08 PM This was technically on the side of the road out east from us. The Big Duck. It has been moved around the Island and this is the final nesting spot for it. It was almost scrapped at one point in time. 3

Glad to see they didn't destroy. 1

The Century model was Buicks "Hot Rod" of the day. They used the lighter weight Super body, and the higher horsepower rated engine from the Roadmaster series. Except for what looks like a rust bubble on the lower right side of the hood the body looks very presentable. 1
