Draggon Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Someone at my doc's office has a Tesla S like this. It was a bit of a "wow" the first time I saw it. After 6 months or so, its just another ( yawn ) new car.
Joe Handley Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 (edited) Saw what appeared to be a Gold with White stripe Olds 442 convertable last night. Nothing to seak of today. Edited October 19, 2014 by Joe Handley
Agent G Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Saw a '29 roadster body on '32 rails. Full fenders and a sweet sounding small block. G

Joe Handley Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 A Karmann Ghia on the side of the parkway, with two guys elbow deep into the engine compartment. I forgot, there was an orange drop top one I saw on lunch today!

slownlow Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 I saw this heading east on I 80 in Des Moines, IA. Looks like some one has a winter project.
Tom Geiger Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 I was in Puerto Rico this week and there is no shortage of money on the island! I did a fair amount of travel so I saw interesting vehicles on the highways. I noticed a good number of very clean Japanese cars from the 1970s and 1980s on the roads, as well as really bad looking versions of the same. There was no rust, but sun fade and peeling clear coat seemed to be the main issues on cars. The sun is brutal! There were also Ferraris, Lotuses, new Corvettes and exotics parked at our hotel and restaurants in San Juan. A red SSR spent Friday evening out in the hotel front circle near the entrance.
The70judgeman Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Had a Ferrari in my garage tonight! Well...before I put it downstairs. But seriously, for you Ford guys I saw a 60 something Falcon(?) Convertible. And for the Chevy guys, over the last couple of days a Chevy regular cab short-box mild custom that is dropped pretty low. Sounded pretty nice with the Flowmaster's too.
ChrisBcritter Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Saw a red '68 GTO convertible with mags and the top down in a shopping center off Willow Road this evening; looked like a decent driver rather than restored.
deuces wild Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Saw a beautiful '67 bright red Chevelle SS with Torq-Thrust mags on it.. That made my day... :)
Crazy Ed Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Went up to Willcox yesterday and saw this: A well done '51. The Guy put a Volarie engine in it and changed the rear end so it's Freeway Driveable. Then while lookin' at Birds got buzzed by this Guywho was out "Playing over Willcox Playa: Then on Kansas Settlement Road I spotted the Ultimate "This Old House" fixer upper:
Joe Handley Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 (edited) One if these in white with goofy looking, oversized aftermarket rims on a local used car lot. Other than the rims, it looks straight out of an old lady's garage. Edited October 28, 2014 by Joe Handley
Tonioseven Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I keep seeing Teslas. I saw a '75-'76 Dart Swinger fastback. Super-clean.
Harry P. Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 I keep seeing Teslas. I saw that neighborhood Tesla again today. But today was the first time I've seen it up close, and on a sunny day. It was right next to me at the light. Turns out it's not black at all, but a very dark, dark midnight blue. Beautiful car.
drunknmunky Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I travel the state photographing car shows. Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing some vehicles at Rivsu Imports, the largest importers of Nissan Skylines in the world. They import many cars but the Skylines are their bread and butter.
Rob Hall Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Mmmm..R32 Skylines...I've only seen two of those in my life. A gray one in the UK and a white one in Colorado about 10 years ago.
Joe Handley Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Don't know why, but the R32's are the only Skylines I really like.
