Chuck Most Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 This is one I've wanted to do for a while- what turned out to be a fairly simple kitbash of the AMT Diamond REO with the Ford L-Series snow plow. Hamilton Township never had their own plow trucks (Gratiot County handles that) and even if they had they likely would not have used Diamond Reos, but hey, it's a model, and I can live in fantasy land if I want.
Superpeterbilt Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Very good build. It looks like the real deal. Excellent work
Petetrucker07 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Very nice. Kit bashing is the best, especially when it turns great, as this did. Good job
Old Albion Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Excellent! Great looking truck with some nice weathering skills.
Guest Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Nice work Chuck. I have always thought the Diamond Reo was one of AMT's better truck kits
Badluck 13 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Chuck you are the king of the "Road Beaters",love the whole creation but my favorite part is the slightly off color hood.
Scalper Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Nice job on the truck.. nice weathering anf kitbashing. looks like the real thing.
mikemodeler Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Nice job on that truck bash Chuck, is this something that would be article worthy for a model magazine?
Rigzndiesel Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Hey Chuck, That is a really nice build. Great weathering and superbly built! The old Reo looks perfect pushing that plow. I like it!! Jeff
