Just went through a 24 hour snowstorm. We got about 8 to 10 inches of snow. But, it was a fairly light snow. The snowblower had no trouble going through it at all. The weather forecasters warned that the winds would be bad today. They thankfully were wrong. The sun came out just before noon. You could see light areas of the snow start melting right away.

For a so called "blizzard," it was a very easy one. Yesterday's afternoon/evening commute was tough. And it did not sound too good this morning. I took the day off from work, figuring on a big clean up today. But, in about a half an hour I was done. I went out for lunch a little after 1 pm, and the roads were pretty good. Tonight's rush hour should have few problems.

This has been a very nice winter by Minnesota standards. And for that I am greatfull. Thanks go to the "old man upstairs."

My wonderful cup of Jose's Columbian this morning.  About $13 for a 3 pound bag at Costco.

$13 for a 3-pound bag? That's a steal, especially if it's good coffee.

Almost worth a Costco membership just for that.

Though I've enjoyed being able to take some time off, I've also been a little apprehensive since I essentially worked myself out of a job the first week of January, when I finished up my part of the '47 Caddy build.

The foreseeable future looks reasonably solid as of today, with the '33 Plymouth I did for Mills finally coming out of the paint shop (after almost 3 years!). I'll be doing the buildup, wiring harness and electronics in the client's facility, and I picked up a total re-wire / custom harness and  FI-install on a '66 Chevelle ground-up pro-touring build, set up with FAST fuel-injection and a Dakota Digital analog dash. There's a '64 Corvette convertible (punched in the rear) waiting for me to do its fiberglass work and paint too...just have to find some shop space to do that one, as polyester glass work is nasty.

Looks like I'll be eating for a while to come. :D

Still like and watch Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry. Trying to get them watching Tom and Jerry instead of Sponge Bob...

CARtoons is back! I just read the digital copy of issue #0. It's great! And to learn about CARtoons being back, on my birthday. Happy birthday to me! I'll tell you, I wasn't a 58 year old man as I sat there reading the latest issue of CARtoons. I felt young again! And that's no exaggeration.
