Good thing. I had a neighbor git his Dodge 4x4 totaled hitting a deer a couple of years ago and he was almost stopped when he hit it.

This would have written my 200 off if there had been any significant contact, it’s nearing 11 years old and I’m not sure how the body parts availability is any more, if the deer hadn’t gone up the hood and through the .windshield on impact if that happened.

Michigan Beat Ohio State in Columbus for the first time in 20 some years.

The show I watched this morning all was on Ohio to win. I  am an Alabama fan so I like just to watch when they get it wrong"..

Nothing can destroy a car worse then a deer ? just the front end would totaled most likely..

Oddly enough, someone on Reddit did actually hit a deer with their 200 sedan (nearly identical to mine, but I think they had the fancier Limited model), I’m positive that will be totaled and mine may not have faired as well if we did hit that doe.

Got an email the other day offering me the streaming service Hulu for just $1.99 a month for a full year (normally $7.99/month). I'm already paying over $200 a month for cable TV and internet access and swore I wouldn't buy any more streaming services, but this is too good a deal to pass up--Now I can enjoy the whole series of Justified again, and I'm hoping they have NYPD Blue, too, as I'd like to see those again too.

The offer is good until midnight tonight (November 28). If anyone else wants in, send me an email and I'll forward the offer to you.

Thankful, that I had all Three Kids, (38, 36, 25) and all 4 Grandkids (1 Girl, 3 boys) at my house for Thanksgiving Dinner. Thankful too, that we had plenty of Food, and a Warm House. And, I still have a Job.

Sadly, my only Sister died of Liver Cancer on 4 Nov, and I did miss her. Been  bad 7 weeks for Family. Lost My Uncle, 5 weeks before my Sister. Cancer got Him too. But, We go on.

Bought tickets for the newly announced Metallica tour!

Not coming here until August 2024 though. 21 months.

Anyway, they're doing what they call the "No Repeat Weekend."

They play Friday and Sunday night in each city on the tour.

Two different opening bands for each night and two completely different setlists for each night.

So two Metallica concerts, 4 different opening bands.

And I'm just as excited that one of the opening bands is the reformed Pantera.

Going to be killer.

i started collecting watches a couple of months ago. i found a small brand named nezumi and they make stunning watches.  anyway, i got an email last week that they were selling a limited to 50 worldwide watch with a blue and yellow ferrari race color

i got the link yesterday and clicked on it right away and it showed there were 6 left, but were reserved for people that had added them to the cart. i stayed on the site just reading and suddenly the add to cart button appeared. someone took longer than the 15 minute reserve time. i quickly added it to my cart and checked out. i immediately got a text fraud alert and i replied immediately saying approve it, so it actually went through. i got the ship notification this morning. i am so excited.

Watch collecting is a seriously slippery slope my friend. If you're not aware there is a website called Watchuseek that caters to that particular hobby. I recommend staying on the Affordable Watches sub-forum for friendly folks and great watches that don't break the bank. i agree. i have went from getting a watch that costs 133 dollars, to my most expensive 1500 in a matter of weeks. my wife made me promise no more watches for a few months. i picked up a nice mido titanium watch the other day, and that was when my wife gave me the talk. i dont think she will be mad over the nezumi because i told her last week i was tryign for it since there was only 50

Yes, Nezumi's are nice watches. I really like Seiko, Bulova, Zodiac and many microbrands.

i have 2 seiko's, a mido, a hamilton, christopher ward, citizen, nezumi (soon 2), and a timex. the christopher ward was the most expensive because it is a gmt. however, the hamilton is the one i wear the most. technically the nezumi is my favorite, but i am not allowed to wear it until xmas.

the hamilton is really a nice piece though. it has a cream face and blue dial. it looks whitle, but is actually cream

the mido is honestly my least favorite. its titanium so it is really light, but it feels cheap. i think because i am used to heavy watches, but i just dont like the mido much

Alas, in the era of always carrying my cell phone, I haven't worn any of my watches in over a decade. I really need to unbox them and start wearing them again as jewelry.  I have a nice Citizen I got for HS graduation, a heavy Tag Heuer I got for college graduation, 2 Skagens, 2 Fossils, a Seiko, and a Timex.

Sweet score. Nezumi is making some of the best-looking watches out there. Honestly, I'd have tried for this one if I'd known they were releasing it (see pic below for a hint as to why!). I've been back and forth on buying the blue and white Nezumi Tonnere chrono for a while. That 38mm size really speaks to me. However, having bought an enamel-dial Seiko SARX049, a Seiko Antarctica "Happy Feet" Monster and several spendy custom straps over the last couple of months it's time to pump the brakes a little!

Ready? The watch...

The Hasegawa 250TR I built several years ago. The color is strictly coincidental, BTW!

I'm a big fan of Bulova's Archive watches like the Devil Diver in your other post. My Chronograph "A" and Spaceview II Alpha get a ton of wrist time.
