Yesterday was a good day. Went to the movies ( Mission Impossible ) then lunch at Red Robin and a trip to Hobby Lobby and then Cabela's.

What's your opinion on the new Movie Mission Impossible? ?

Did you like it ?

XJ6 ?

If you like action movies you will enjoy this. Wife wanted to see Minions. I dodged that bullet !

I wasn't so lucky. Last week I got dragged to see Train Wreck.   My advice?   DON'T!

I had lunch today with my favorite aunt and uncle... the one with the red Tesla.   I learned that my cousin, the one with the silver Tesla has ordered another one. The newest one that will do zero to sixty in something like two seconds..   So in September we will have THREE Teslas in the family, none of them mine!

Saturday, I got off work, then we were nearly home. We always go past the recycling center, so I put forth we should stop in. Of course, Dad said no because he "didn't really feel like it."
"Come on," I said, "I'm paying for gas here."

Stopped in. He found a pretty big trunk, a CD rack, and a woodstove stand. I found a piece of steel pipe and a pair of Realistic Nova-15s. One of them had a bad woofer (which I only found out when I brushed the foam on it and it fell away... a feather touch all the way around took all the foam off ) but I'm keeping both of them and putting new matching Celestions in them at some point.

Even though the temps have been in the low 90s, the humidity is right now a season-low of 37%. Almost as nice here as it is out West.B)

Man, I miss Arizona...especially those gorgeous sunsets like Ed posted. We get one like that here maybe once a year...if ever.

Heck Bill depending on where in the West you're better. Right now the Humidity here is 60% and not a bit of a breeze. and this week we're suppose to be in the low to mid 90's for our daytime highs. But the Views are nice yeasr 'round. Here's a Dawn looking down our Driveway from earlyer last week.

Since I see a couple of photos of the Arizona sky I thought I would post this one. I took this with my iphone while walking a couple of days ago. I walk everyday and at this time of the year I go early. As you can tell it was still dark (about 4:30 am ). I saw the moon behind some clouds and decided to snap a pic of it. When I got home and really looked at the photo it looked to me like someone was looking back ! Does it not look as if someone is peeking out behind the clouds ?

Ray, below the Lit area I see what reminds me of a Pacman Ghost. Is that what you meant?

I love your vistas Ed!  This is about  as far as I can see out my back windows....

So do I Tom, but I'll bet you figured that out huh?  That's PRETTY! I'll even bet it wouldn't take you an hour to reach some place to go fishing would it?

I had been putting off going to the doctor mainly because it is rarely good news when I do. My left knee has been really sore and going up and down stairs was getting to be very painful.I went yesterday and found out that the real problem with my knee is old age and that guy arthur ritis. A cortisone shot and some high doses of ibuprofen and it's like I am 15 instead of 51!

I also got some advice on how to lift properly with my hands and arms to alleviate the pain in my elbows and reduce the inflammation in the tendons.Maybe now I will have more energy to sit at the workbench and get some WIPs done!

Glad you liked the Pic Kevin. I figure it's a Model Car Forum, not General Photography.  I figure every now n then and I won't ruffle any feathers. FWIW I have two favorite time of year for Picture taking 'round here. Now's one of 'em because of the Lightning and the Second starts around mid to late October when the Sandhill Cranes return.

I figure that pretty much anything goes from the standpoint of photographs here in the off topic area, as long as it doesn't violate normal rules, but I don't know that for sure.

We've had some incredibly cool thunderstorms here this year, especially in June. They terrified me as a child, but now I view them as magnificent.

Just the same until I hear otherwise I think I'll keep it low key

Lightning dose put on a one of a kind Show, and as long as you know when you and your Aluminum Foil Hat need to get inside makes for one of the most photogenic things in Nature.

I'm finally almost done with my Vaterra Ascender K5 Blazer, all that's left is to strip the chrome off the diff covers and grill then detail paint the grill!

Finally, 11 months after moving in here, I'm beginning to make progress on the preparation of my "personal space", as in my sleeping/living area. I am such a postponer.

It's blissfully cool. 76F. First time it's been that cool with the sun up for months. Man, oh man. I still don't have AC, as I haven't got to that in the renovation yet. Cool is good.:)
