I think that other than Callium's Mercedes and Astin, Dir. Vance's Yukon, Kedsie's SRX, the current Chargers, the old FWD's, Ducky's ME vans, and Dinozo's last Caddy, the rest of the NCIS cars could be had from existing tooling! Should be interesting to see what's used on the new New Orleans spinoff for cars though.

Waltons Gift Set - John Boy's Model A (A gift from the odd spinster sisters, he brush painted it tan)

and Daddy Walton's Model A pickup. Actually not all that tough to do since the vehicles exist as kits...

And just to make it difficult... The Walton Mountain school bus which was actualy a Corbitt in the series.

Since we're going out there...

DUEL Gift Set - Peterbilt tanker and '71 Valiant ?

!!! I like this one a lot! It should still count as TV. For Dual was originally a TV movie of the week, before it went to the theaters. Spielberg's first movie. And a great one.

I too would like to see Jim Rockford's Firebird. It would be nice to have a model of that generation's Firebird that is not a Trans Am. Rockford drove an Esprit. I would like to see that or an earlier same generation Formula.

Someone listed wanting and Andy Griffith "61 Ford wagon police car." I don't remember that show ever using station wagons? I thought Andy and Barney drove 4-door sedans? Did they have a '61 wagon early on in the show? I don't remember one.

Here's an easy one. I like to see a reissue of the Man from UNCLE/AMT Piranha kit.

And another person mentioned Bond, 007. MPC once offered a nice Toyota 2000GT convertible kit. I don't think they ever tried tying it to the Bond franchise. But, the only real life 2000GT convertibles build were the two for the Bond movie You Only Live Twice. Even without the Bond tie, I'd like to see this kit come back.

I need the Aztek so bad. If they made a series of Breaking Bad cars, I would snap 'em up.

Incidentally, there is a Revell Monte that is the same era, I believe. It's in the Donks series, but at least it has the option of wire wheels, which do look like Pinkman's, sorta.

Get one of those, jack up the rear end, put bullet holes in it and broken glass, and there's your intro scene from s2e1.

Yeah, but the Revell MC is an SS..different front end. I remember the Donk version w/ the big wheels, don't recall one w/ small low rider style wheels/tires.

Who is making a Torino?

Edit; saw it in the Revell thread.

If the AMT molds for this are still around someplace and can be brought back to stock:

...it could be rereleased as the Old Man's car from Pawn Stars:

And the same deal with the '65 Continental. Seems like a natural; something for the cast members to autograph for their fans (and the rest of us to build).

By the way, if you want to be picky, the wheelcovers on the kit were not changed from '65; you'd have to get a set of Jo-Han '67-'68 Imperial wheelcovers to be correct for '66.

(Could this be a first? Two TV cars from the same kit.)

Except that John Walton's "pickup" was actually a 1929 Model AA 1-ton Express Pickup--heavy truck chassis, 131 1/2 inch wheelbase, 9' pickup box, single split rim wheels with 6:00-20 truck tires. As for John-Boy's Model A roadster, you can that one out of the AMT kit. Now, Ike Godsey's '32 Ford 1/2 ton panel delivery would be a hoot to have in kit form--think of the possibilities for that one BEYOND the TV vehicle!

Of course, there are a whole bunch (over 50 years' worth across how many movies?) of James Bond cars (and even some of the villains' rides as well) that would make great model kits!
