Geno Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Just finished it up over the weekend. I took a Jada 1/24 white with gray interior '57 Panel, completely disassembled it, painted it inside and out to match the '60 Sedan Delivery detailed it up and put it back together. I then bought the matching trailer to make the set. Before. After.
Daddyfink Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Very cool! But I was thinking of the GTX when I first read the heading!! LOL!
TooOld Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Great looking set ! The '57 makes a great tow vehicle , very nice work . - I always thought the Jada diecasts looked a little oversize but yours looks correct !
slusher Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Great set of bowties, real nice work on the diecast.
jsc Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Did you use a Jada to upgrade the car as well? They've got a nice front bumper and grille, same scale
Geno Posted August 22, 2014 Author Posted August 22, 2014 Where did you get the trailer? Pat, I picked it up off of Ebay for less than $20. It is really nice. It's made by Sunnyside.

The grille/headlights and the rear tail light panel came from a scrap Jada '60 Impala. I'm all the time kitbashing models and diecasts. It's just fun for me to build my dreams lol.
DeeCee Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 What an absolutely perfect looking pair, they compliment each other i thing, GREAT job.
Biggie Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Nicely done project Gene! Looks superb and I love the name on the cars
