chunkypeanutbutter Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Is that guy asleep? I certainly wouldn't want to see what that might unleash left on its own XD
blunc Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 (edited) I'd guess he's looking over the side of the car to see where the road is...since the hemi and the front of his car is obscuring his view of the track. Edited September 9, 2014 by blunc
JunkPile Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 A perfect example of power-to-weight ratio

Draggon Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I thought of that car as soon as I read the thread title. I love it too, one of my all time favorites. Looks just as good standing still.
GLMFAA1 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Did Revell do something similar with their Healey kit? greg
Draggon Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Did Revell do something similar with their Healey kit? greg No, there's was stock if i remember correctly. Forum member Cliff Read ( traditional ) did one though!
Danny Lectro Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Is that guy asleep? Perhaps the sudden acceleration knocked him unconscious.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 Is that guy asleep? Maybe it's just a little body-English. There doesn't seem to be any other way to steer the thing at the moment.
DonW Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Maybe it's just a little body-English. There doesn't seem to be any other way to steer the thing at the moment. What's 'body-English'? Best Healey I've ever seen though!
tubbs Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 What's 'body-English'? Best Healey I've ever seen though! to lean your body one way or another to direct, unsuccessfully I may add, an object in which you have no control over. like a bowling or golf ball. any sports item really is the best example.
FASTBACK340 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 I've been meaning to post these pictures. I saw this car at the Mopars at E-town show last August. Imagine having that Torqueflite explode at your feet?
FASTBACK340 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 And I saw this considerably less powerful version at a local show this summer. It had a 9" rear and a tubular sub-frame. It was "done right". The owner joked about it being a budget Cobra.
