I'd guess he's looking over the side of the car to see where the road is...since the hemi and the front of his car is obscuring his view of the track. ;)

I thought of that car as soon as I read the thread title. I love it too, one of my all time favorites. Looks just as good standing still.

Did Revell do something similar with their Healey kit?

No, there's was stock if i remember correctly. Forum member Cliff Read ( traditional ) did one though!

Maybe it's just a little body-English. There doesn't seem to be any other way to steer the thing at the moment.

to lean your body one way or another to direct, unsuccessfully I may add, an object in which you have no control over. like a bowling or golf ball. any sports item really is the best example.

And I saw this considerably less powerful version at a local show this summer. It had a 9" rear and a tubular sub-frame. It was "done right". The owner joked about it being a budget Cobra.
