Brent
I will be building a Canadian Freightways set with two 53 foot trailers recreating the first time tandems of that length were pulled from Vancouver BC to Kelowna BC. The unit had a police escort the entire way. It was a first for BC. I started an International kit as they use those trucks as well but the Volvo is by far more common. Stumbled across this kit yesterday and grabbed it! Now to start over on the project. Tinkering with the idea of using the IH chassis as this kit is curbside. FYI My brother is the CF manager at the Kelowna branch.

Foggy 2
Hi Jacobus / Tom / All,If you are planning a trip to Europe soon, make it Early in March (around the 12th) the "On the Road" show at Jabbeke is the best truck model show in Europe, the only thing you will need is another large luggage case for the return trip home.I just returned home from this years show I drove from the UK so that I could get all my kits and stuff in one go, the standards are really high with some really stunning scratch built trucks on show and loads of really neat custom paint jobs as well.I'll post some photos soon, I took over 400 photos at the show!!!!!Rgds Foggy 2. Superpeterbilt
I just bought this. Wow, this is the second one of these that Ive seen. I want one just to see how much it compares to the AMT truck.
Force
I have the AMT kit and that's far from accurate, this one is most likely better but I don't know if it's entirely correct in every aspect. The Revell T600 has the same Cummins NTC 475 Dual Turbo as their Peterbilt 359 and KW K100 vs the AMT Cummins NTA 370 from the old K123/W925, The Revell kit has KW Air Glide 100 suspension and the same rear frame as their K100 vs the AMT Hendrickson Walking Beam from the K123/W925 and the front of the chassis and hood looks more correct than the AMT...so I thought of maybe combining the two and take the best parts from each kit. truckabilly
I bulit the Big Sleeper couple of years ago. I wasn´t satisfied with the shape of the cab steps (the upper red part) as they were far from reality. Other than that, it is a nice kit. Other than that, it is a nice kit.Yes they look a bit odd, but as I said, I will most likely combine the AMT and Revell kits (I have both the AMT Canepa and regular T600A) and take the best from both, for example I think I'll use the side skirts or parts from them, the sleeper, mirrors and sun visor from the AMT kit, and maybe some other parts. But I haven't recieved the Revell T600 kit yet so I don't know if it's possible but it will come sometime this week...and I got it for a decent price, I paid under 60 bucks for it.
