cobraman Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 It's the if one is good ,two are better theory . Just plain overkill IMO.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 That thing must turn like a mango.
Joe Handley Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Reminds me of some of the pulling trucks from the 80's!
oldnslow Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 More money than taste or brains. Hope he has something more than that moon tank with fuel in it.
Custom Hearse Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 I actually think it's cool. It's a lot better than some customs I've seen...
chunkypeanutbutter Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 ^ Well I never thought those looked good anyways... I actually like that, though.
cobraman Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Where can I find more photos of that.............van thing ?
Snake45 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 I actually think it's cool. It's a lot better than some customs I've seen... That's what you call a Hillbilly Deora!
Snake45 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Was looking through some 1969 Rod & Custom mags yesterday and saw a pic of a double-motored Fad T--on the street, no less. Pretty good definition of "wretched excess."
my80malibu Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Just because you can, Doesn't mean you should.
Snake45 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Just because you can, Doesn't mean you should. What kind of talk is THAT for an American! This is the Land of the Free and the Home of "Hold My Beer And Watch This!""
Petetrucker07 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 I think its cool. Its like that guy out of vegas, Davey Deals. He has that car with 2 big blocks, sittin side by side, with 2 blowers on each, yes 4 blowers. People build these to be different, it takes a bunch thought and probably a few cold 1s, but its not practical in any way, but its just gearhead cool. At a car show, it gets lots of attention, which is why im sure it was built, attention.

chunkypeanutbutter Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 I wouldn't mind the two engines thing but it's too wide and too long for my tastes.
bobthehobbyguy Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 I think the 2 blower version makes more sense. The 4 looks like it would be impossible to see where one is going. Have to respect the engineering that went into making it work.
blunc Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 (edited) reminds me of a saying I heard from my father occasionally. "Some's good, more's better and too much is juuuuust right!" Edited October 19, 2014 by blunc
DynoMight Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 The guy who built it was feature in a Youtube episode of /Drive (which sadly went over to a paid subscription recently) Watch it if you like!
Rob Hall Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 He could add a periscope to see over the blowers..
Joe Handley Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 The guy who built that blue one pops up on Counting Cars from time to time, seems like he's gotten to be friends with Danny (the owner of Count's Customs.)
Petetrucker07 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 remind me of a say I heard from my father occasionally. "Some's good, more's better and too much is juuuuust right!" Absolutely!!!! Sounds like what Tim Allen would say, MORE POWER!!!! AAARRR AAARRR AAARRR!!!
1/24DragAndStreetCars Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 What about TV Tommys Showboat!? That thing is just sweet and all wheel drive!
