Hello

Another "old build" from maybe ten years ago, started with a clean unpainted drag built, I decide to restore it on stock form, had to reworked the front wheels opening as it was enlarged for the drag headers, hood, front valance and hubcaps from Modelhaus, 273 engine from the 64 Lindberg/IMC Dodge pick up, correct fenderwells are from a 68 Revell Dart.

Hope you'll like it

Looks great

Where does one find a 65 Barracuda kit/body ?

A local builder is looking for one to build a model of his 1:1 car

Thanks

Someday I will start my 66 Barracuda build for my 1:1 car

You did a fantastic job converting a drag car back to stock configuration. Did you use the Hemi Under Glass? I have been wanting to build a Trans-Am version of the Barracuda so would have to do a similar conversion.

Looks great. That is one of the few finished that looks correct to me.

Thanks for all the nice comments, this is the nicest I could have ;)

The Hemi Under Glass is a 66, not a 65, I use an original built model from 65 which I restored ;)

Very cool Emmanuel! My favorite Barracuda body style was the '67-'69 coupe. But it's really nice to see one of these, especially stock!! You see them occasionally, but they're usually butchered in one way or another. No offense to the customizers & race fans. :) Steve

Very, very nice. I absolutely love "rescue" builds and you did a fine, fine job with this one. Well done and model on! B)

Aaahhh! That IS very, very nice! Now I know what to do with the '65 Barracuda build-up I have that's been languishing for years! One question--------were the chassis's on the '65 Barracuda and '68-'69 Darts essentially the same?

That would put some very nice detail in that area if I ever decide to restore mine.
