Actually I did get eggs. But first I had to go pawn my watch so's I could afford them. 2

I got to hear a 10 minute rant from my wife when she told me a dozen eggs were $7.90 a dozen at the local store here in Montana. I would've thought she had served in the US Navy...😲 Edited January 9 by Old Buckaroo 1 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Bought a decent sleeping bag just in case the power goes out. Left the other one in the AZ house 3 years ago, never thought I'd be here this long. I can keep the house kinda warmish in the daytime with the propane burner, but can't let it run at night because of the carbon monoxide risk.
Dave Ambrose Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Two free wind wings for my son's '70 MG Midget from the fellow who bought our '62 Sprite. I swear that British car enthusiasts are the best car culture crowd around. 2
Mike C Posted January 15 Posted January 15 This awesome new Seiko 5 , 55th anniversary special edition arrived today. . 2

Totally bought it not only because of how cool it is but because I was very well aware of the double lifetime warranty👍 One of the reasons why I really like vintage things- cool design that’s practical and lasts forever. Well guys we jinxed my stapler; it kinda broke in the sense that whenever I push it down to staple paper, the staple load part pops out. I did rig up something on it that has in a way, fixed it, but not surprisingly the part that broke was the only plastic bit on the thing. I just have to pull back on the paper clip there when I want to staple and it works fine. 1

Falcon Ranchero Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Got a working 1965 Balloon Flashlight for 2.99; research showing one such flashlight is worth $27; very pleased. 1
RSchnell Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Always on the lookout for stuff to add to my Ford memorabilia collection. Ran across this piece of literature from 1955 that I've never seen before. Being a '55-56 Ford guy, had to have it. The cover photo is awesome! I'd like to have one of those styling models in my collection. 4

jaymcminn Posted March 1 Posted March 1 A few days late but... New (2024) Kia Forte GT2. I had to drive over to Lauderdale to get it as they're pretty hard to find now with the 2025 K4 on the lots. 1.6 liter turbo with 7-speed dual clutch transmission. It's very quick and extremely fun to toss around. I'm behaving myself during the break-in period but I can't wait to wring it out a bit. The toys are nice. Ventilated seats in SW Florida are a game changer. Only mod plans at this time are for a 30% ceramic window tint. 2
LennyB Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Just picked up this Flash Gordon Rocket Ship. It's a reproduction that came out in 2004. I've seen these around and often thought about getting one to go along with my original Buck Rogers Rocket Ship from 1927. Was able to score this for $15 plus shipping. They go from anywhere between $75.00 and $400.00 on fleabay. This is my original Buck Rogers Rocket Ship that I've had since I was a kid. Was given to me by my great Uncle Charlie who was a Lionel Train collector who picked up a lot of other items in his travels. Legend has it I am the only person that he has ever given anything too, he would sell you and item or barter for one, but never gave anything away. Don't know what I did to get this. It isn't perfect, lithograph is faded and has some wear to it and was missing the rear fin. I picked up a reproduction fin at one time and it still works. Copyright date on bottom is March 15, 1927 1
michelle Posted March 9 Posted March 9 (edited) i got this near mint condition vinyl LP of the dukes of hazzard soundtrack from 1982 i have already listened to it 3 times so far i love the story that is told between the songs by boss hogg it is so funny though they did catherine bach dirty with what they did to her song she song they pitched it up and made it sound like she was singing in a hole with bad acoustics and if you did not have her name on the vocals you would never have been able to tell it was her as it sounded nothing like her Edited March 9 by michelle 2
JollySipper Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Michelle, you're as big a fan of the General as I am of the Coyote X!

johnyrotten Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Found a 44 inch Mac tools pry bar laying in the road this morning. Little rusty but no worse for wear. 4
Ace-Garageguy Posted April 14 Posted April 14 (edited) I got a haircut, got the '89 GMC started, gassed, and hauled some trash, got my lawn mowed (exercise doing something useful instead of a hike), and got two vehicles titled and tagged. Back to work on the Chevelle tomorrow. Edited April 14 by Ace-Garageguy 2
