Jantrix Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 And his amazing 1966 Buick Riviera!! Please join us for the 2015 Cannonball CBP, going on eight years now folks. The theme for next year is sleepers, with no year or tech restrictions. Should be fun.
DynoMight Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 WOW! All around killer build. The under carriage is my personal favorite part. Looks real.
1930fordpickup Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Nice car, well worth the award. It was a tough race in my opinion this year, I could not decide the lead car myself. So I did not vote.
TFchronos Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 That is one bee-yoo-tiful model. Took the words right out of my mouth. Amazing level of detail, definitely the winner in my book, congratulations Erik, hope to see you next year.
A.R.C. Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 You really did do an incredible job on it. Congratulations Erik

Pat Minarick Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Congratulations Erik, very clean build.
ERIK88 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Congrats, I love this build. Very simplistic, clean , nice wheel selection. I can see why this one is a winner, not overly done.
Dominik Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Congratulations Erik. An amazing build and a worthy first place winner. x2 Lot of detailwork on the engine.
Erik Smith Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Thanks to all for the comments. I had a lot of fun in the Community Project this year but am REALLY looking forward to 2015! I hope to see as many quality models in the Sleeperball as we had this year!
W-409 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 As I said earlier, this is probably the best of all in this year's Cannonball! The other builds were fantastic as well, but somehow this just stands out. Even if I'm not crazy about that modern engine, I think this looks really good.
