Cannonball Run 2015 " The Sleeperball"

Just looked it up... SSR has 116" wheelbase, 54 sedan delivery has 115" WB. Which means at 1:1 scale, that's only a half inch difference on each wheel. Is that sweet or what?

Which you could probably work out without altering the chassis, by just slightly lengthening the wheel arches. B)

Bumper work

I decided the LS1 needed more air coming in so,..

Cut out the middle of the lower bumper and,..

cut the cowcatcher off the top,..

and installed it underneath,..

This gives me room to install an intercooler ;)

Don't know why GM didn't think of this 53 years ago  ?

Also ground the back of the grille out.

Nice frame work going on up there Rob

This is fun iddnit

Cheers

Rating himself as an "excellent" welder, Ricardo fired up the torch and laid down a weld that, if nothing else, sealed the aluminum fuel tank against leaks, if not a nuclear explosion of the engine.

I can't wait to spray some aluminum paint on this! This afternoon after washing and drying.
