Ridge Rider
The Island is correct. Hint- Ray Walston was the chauffeur. The film also starred Fast Times alum Phoebe Cates. From a well known movie.

I painted all my models yellow and black for a while! Movie was never released on video, but I was able to buy a boot leg CD.

ChrisBcritter
Smash Up On Interstate 5 Bravo! Actually filmed on the not-yet-opened 210 Freeway near Sunland/Tujunga, CA; that area looks nothing like the I-5 near San Juan Capistrano where the movie is set... Scale-Master
I watched Smash Up when it first came out (made for TV movie) and thought it was cheesy then. All slow motion looking just like a Chips chase/crash scenes.
