  1. Good to know as i have a couple of the 72'Dusters in my stash.,that would be great if he prints some.πŸ‘
  2. Hello everyone, with warmer weather out it's hard not to think about summer nights and cruisin in a convertible with the top down. That's what's inspired this build,i'm using an old Shawn Carpenter resin convertible,i bought back in 2001. The donor kit The plan was to paint the car Evening Orchid Poly but the color didn't flatter the body lines at all!!.So going with code 983 Goodwood Green which is very close in hue to code JJ Cypress Green metallic. Since the car will 327 powered i robbed the 327 from the 64 Impala,i also have the MCG P/E set as well and some extra parts from the parts box Since the impala has a auto transmission, the plan was to modify the chevelle console but the auto/manual consoles are quite different so i just cut the transmission off a vette engine and mated it to the impala block. That's all the progress so far.🀠
  3. This build is now finished and posted in Under Glass,as Always thanks for the comments and likes!,on to the next build!.
  4. Finished this morning a pretty basic kit with some decent detail, color is Tamiya Bright Red.Wheels from the Aoshima Huracan, decals went on well despite being over 30 years old.Was aiming for a different look if the kit was new to the supercar scene. A few more outdoor pictures
  5. I managed to grab two of the 72'Demon grilles before he sold out again,i read that the 72'demon has a different interior,so it will take some work to have a correct 72.
  6. Built one many years ago,a enjoyable kit to build.looks good in yellow.πŸ‘
  7. Nice work so far, sometimes rebuilders are more enjoyable to do than a unbuilt kit.πŸ‘
  8. You would be better off using Amt's 70 camaro for a better undercarriage and maybe revell's 68 firebird for the engine.
  9. Appreciate the commments!..okay i have the body/chassis put together,no fit issues at all, just some touchups on the front glass and adding the windshield wiper and it will be finished.
  10. Thanks for the comments!,...okay a few updates, the kit engine has very little detail,so the block was painted Mr.Hobby Stainless 2,then a wash of Tamiya Black panel wash and some Tamiya flat red and Vallejo black and some kit supplied wire and decals. Chassis complete and wheels added, pretty simplified as is most of the kit Lastly the interior, i went with a red/white interior and thought afterwards it looked like a Mighty Morphin power rangerπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈeven though the decals are 35 yrs old they went on just fine ,i did spray them 1st with a couple light coats of tamiya semi gloss clear.
  11. These arrived late afternoon yesterday, again a great price for the whole bundle.
  12. Looks good!,i have one in my stash have yet to build it.πŸ‘
