  1. Very nice start, paint looks great I have a couple of older Ferrari kits now in my future builds collection
  2. Great conversion Brian really cool Do you have a link to article? I am curious the other body modifications you made?
  3. I would say this new Revell Foose FD-100 kit, it really is going together so nicely and easily. I definitely will be buying another or two.
  4. I'm not a transmission expert, but looking online at photos of both the C6 and AODE transmission, it appears this kit's transmission is an AODE body, with a C6 pan? The starter 'bulge' looks way too large and placed high up also?
  5. I like this idea, and looks great I would like to build a later model Rockford 'Bird Esprit myself someday There was a conversion set offered by a resin caster, but I can't remember who? I haven't seen anyone making Esprit parts for earlier model like you're building
  6. Wow, that is a truly fantastic build I'd love to build a D type for myself someday? The Revell XKSS kit is not easy to find these days either
  7. That's really fantastic work, it looks great I struggle with decals, so generally avoid any model with too many
  8. Cool concept and build Somehow a modern Hemi seems like a good fit, just as Mopar has announced a return to Nascar as well I like the idea of getting a small lathe for personal use, very handy

    '70 Cuda T/A

Apparently you didn't properly read my post: "...hasn't been a properly "good" 1:25 scale AAR Cuda kit made, from a mainstream producer." Owning two of the new Revell Cuda 2n1 kits, from which J.C. is doing a superb job converting, and most all other has been mass produced, is the point of my saying, that now Revell could (and should) finally do a good 1:25 AAR Cuda version based upon their new release. Love the stance and wheels and tires J.C. Keep up the great work!
  10. cool idea for making the engine pulleys, and a great build

    '70 Cuda T/A

As a Mopar fan, I really really like this build, great work going into this I'm still surprised there hasn't been a properly "good" 1:25 scale AAR Cuda kit made, from a mainstream producer After the reissued Revell 70 Cuda kit, I thought and wished maybe that would happen, but hasn't yet
  12. wow, amazing work, just wow!
  13. That paint color nicely matches the 1970s, great choice, and great detail work being added, for an otherwise basic kit I sure like how clear your work bench photos are
  14. Thanks Gents! I will for sure once I have something worth showing
  15. What was the cost of the that body 3D printed? I've not yet worked with a 3D printed body , only small parts It looks like a cool project
  16. Those are both very good points He says on web page that USA buyer can request airmail for the additional cost of $10 or more , so that sounds right because to buy a kit online costs me shipping of $16 plus cost of kit , or else automatically goes out by their remailer system which is only $5 or $6 total cost i think? there is no service here that can ship for that cheap with a delivery confirmation Still is the production time needed to make the orders , his page says 3 weeks , mine was about two weeks then shipped I know is more expensive to ship the same size of package from Canada to USA , than it is USA to Canada , with tracking and a delivery confirmation Canada post prices are high compared to other countries , even for sending within Canada I sent a kit size and weight package to family member about 3 hours drive away , and forced to send by tracked post was $14 , they wont allow packages now without tracking option purchased
  17. The steel front axle is pretty well hidden when built and going to be much more sturdy than normal plastic pins holding wheels on I am not sure about the wood bed liner , i always have had issues with clear coat over decals , but looks good in the few build photos I have seen so far
  18. That is a great looking kit , I'm really happy Revell has not molded the frame and interior shell together I like the big block engine and intake too , too bad it isnt a Cadillac V8 engine in there , but it is a copy of the Foose car which uses a Chevy big block I can see this being a base kit for many customs builds a long time from now I ordered this kit and the Foose FD100 pickup and will be my first builds after many years since building
  19. Thank you Gentlemen for the nice replies , I had not expected that response actually I am really enjoying reading through all the build posts and the helpful information here its a great resource!
  20. of course it is in USD , he says right on the web page bulletins that over 75% of his buyers are from the USA my girlfriend has as small craft store online is Canadian also , she does the same thing , majority of her buyers are from USA and the rest from all over the world , so her prices set in USD because everyone can relate to that as a base line that does not matter anyway because when you make the payment through paypal , it automatically converts into your local currency these are handmade items Jeremy produces , his prices are very reasonable given that and the quality, and Amazing quality! I'm amazed how he can produce so many as he does? he does it all by himself too! he makes every single tiny part by hand , i mean Thousands of tiny parts , all trimmed of flash and sands them smooth , even fixes any tiny air bubbles! my seats has small air bubble fixed , he filled and sanded smooth the tiny hole , and that was on the bottom of the seat where no one is going to see it anyways! I've not ever seen that done on any other resin vendors parts having spoken with him a few times now on email, I know he's been very frustrated by the slowness and communications issues, he is working well beyond maximum capacity for a one man shop in my opinion , and said he is working on finding ways to improve things for better , and spoke about how this past 8 or 10 months has been completely overwelmed by the surprise volume he's seen I for one will definitely become a regular customer
  21. Really nice workmanship Jeremy, i also have that kit to build soon and was from your posts that i went and purchased clearly scale hood and euro nose to use, i only hope mine will look half as good as yours!
  22. I have not built any scale models in over 20 years, I'm in Vancouver Canada, but have spent the past year purchasing kits and parts and setting up a work space, to start again this fall, and have been looking at the build threads here for a while now Thanks for addition to your membership
  23. I've gotten 2 orders of parts from clearly scale now, the first in february, when I learned he'd a problem with laptop and lost email accounts access, which I totally understand since that has happened to me before, was delay in communications, but he did respond and apologized for the delay and pointed out was a really super busy time for him with record volume of orders, but and parts arrived in the time period quoted on his web store, a 3 week production lead time, plus shipping time. My friend in the states had a longer wait, but is posted bulletins usa shipping info on web store http://www.clearlyscale.com/product/must-read-usa-shipping-bulletin through a usa remailer, in groups of orders, which makes sense to get that shipping cost so way low only $5 instead of $15 or more, like the small package I had shipped from here to usa cost me over $15. My second order just arrived and arrived even faster, and again really super clean parts, like really good! I opened packages, dumping one engine set on the floor and lost a couple of parts, which he sent to me right away and no cost after I sent email asking to purchase missing parts. I'm amazed how he keeps up to the volume of orders he gets, I wouldn't be able to do that. Thank you jeremy for the great parts and great service!
