Although I didn't get my two Cobras done in time for the deadline, I did get to see one of the actual cars that competed in the race. The #12 Cobra of Bob Bondurant and Lew Spencer, which was one of the cars I really wanted to get going on, along with the restored version of the Gurney/Johnson Cobra, which I am almost done completing the engine for.

The 37s are similar to the ones in the Aurora kit

The 904 is going to be awesome. I really want to build the 1966 version. I did find out that the Aurora/Monogram kit is actually based off the Cunningham car.

What about a 1/25th scale Shelby 289 Cobra engine that's better than the one in the AMT kit? Street version and of course the race version.

The Teapot kit is really hard to find.

The film version of the #45 car is actually one of the 20 911R production cars made in 1967, which is very rare today. That car (serial 11899004R) and the sister car (11899005R) were owned by Jo Siffert and loaned to Solar Productions for the film. 004R portrayed car #45 in the film, and 005R portrayed car #66.
