Fun Build...lots of kit bashing with Slixx Decals.    1st time using a powdered candy concentrate, much cheaper than the liquid variety.   Pretty interesting product, mix the powder with lacquer thinner or reducer then use it to tint your clear.?

I'm sure you've shared this elsewhere? That must be how that combo got into my brain...

How did you squeeze the exhaust between the frame rails?

I raised the engine using some spacers under motor mounts....looking forward to seeing how yours turns out.

One thing I KNOW is drag racing.

That Vicky is GREAT, perfect choices of parts and great execution too, VERY AUTHENTIC AND ACCURATE!
A really nice build!

Beautiful, and the finish is magnificent! Great sit--you've got it high but not TOO high, and with a very subtle rake instead of nosejacked. I like this a lot! B)

Thanks Gary....I was definitely inspired by some of the great Vicky Gassers of the 60's.  I.e... Teddy Bear and Teeter's red Vicky

I like everything about your build,  the paint is beautiful, nice job all the way around. A nice period piece.

Did the glass already come tinted? If not, how did you do it?

Ted...I tinted the glass with Tamiya Clear Blue spray paint.

Excellent build, love everything about it.  The overall end product is outstanding  When I got to the side view picture, I wondered what had happened to the paint on the "C" pillar, then I went down a couple more and realized it was a reflection of the overhead light - whew!
