How’s the ‘Cuda progressing? Look forward to the next update!

IT's DONE !    I've been busy last few months, but I will post my last part of assembly and then a new post "Under Glass"  soon.

Here is the finished grill. For those that remember, I cut out the headlight holes, made a new template and corrected the gap. Also drilled out the plastic grill and added the photo-etched detailed grill. Added a very thin piece of BMF trim around the edge. Overall, I think it’s a good looking grill ! LOL

Some BMF work around the windows. For the fender trim, I’ll use the Molotow pen.

I like to drill a small hole and glue a pin to the base of side mirrors. Then drill a small hole in the door. This makes glueing it in place easier & stronger.

Below, all I did was drill out a hole in the middle of the hood hinge. Makes it look more like a hinge, rather that a triangle shaped hinge !!

First time installing hood pins. It was a challenge and very tedious getting it to line up and function properly.

Wow you really are raising the bar with the details your adding . The front end looks amazing. Cant wait to see what you do to the rear end.

Opened up the trunk and layed down some carpet.  Rear wheel tubs needed to be painted body color. Almost forgot about that detail ....

Fantastic work Adam my only criticism would be that the shaker could do with coming up a little . Other than that perfection

Yes, you are correct sir.  I took too much off the carbs, to make sure the hood fit nice & flat.  Not seeing the "Hemi Cuda" badge nice & clearly is bothering me. I'm a perfectionist, so I must fix it... LOL  !

Cheers,

Adam

I always like to finish off my interiors with roof liners made with real fabric.  This is such a quick and easy thing to do and I am surprised at how many fantastic builds are missing this simple detail.

I use Post-It notes as my template, cut out the fabric and then install with a light coat of glue on the back.
