fivesuns Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 I started this one on January 19 and finished on February 9th after a long fight. The chassis was warped one way, the body was warped the other. For what I thought was going to be a relatively easy build, I almost put it back in the box but I endeavored to persevere. In retrospect I would have done a few things different, but this is still a learning experience for me.
Renegade Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Great color, sharp build. Have a ragtop in the stash I haven't gotten to yet.
tbill Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Looks like you won the fight, looks great. Love the color .
Modelbuilder Mark Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 I was say good for you for carrying on. Those warps can really turn a pleasurable experience into something awful. Nice, clean box stock build.
bbowser Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Great job! Can't go wrong with a 6-banger, blackwalls, and dog dishes!
fivesuns Posted February 14, 2019 Author Posted February 14, 2019 Thank you gentlemen for the kind comments.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Built two of those, and I know the front end assembly is fiddly to say the least. Great color.
espo Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Looks very good. Color almost looks OEM. Nice to see a little warmed over 6 cylinder.
