I enjoyed this build a lot actually and while the innards are pretty much identical to the Tamiya Testarossa kit, the interior and obviously the exterior are quite unique. The finish did not quite come out as planned but good enough for me to enjoy it on my shelf.

Have long had this one in the stash just never think of building it. I'm glad to see that someone has, maybe you have provided the incentive I need to pull it out. It would be a nice diversion from more complicated projects in the long winter ahead. Yours turned out very nice.

Hey Mr. Lighthouse Dude!  I saw that you got this recently, awesome that you built it!  It's a cool car, the kit goes together like a charm.  I keep seeing this for sale in FB Marketplace and eBay and at model shows, they must have made a billion kits.  Came out nice!

I changed the colors for mine built last century.

Nice - you hardly see these built.  It really looks great. I have one - started 17 years ago.  Unfinished. :)

haha, you should finish! It is actually a pretty fun build.

Thanks, hope you do end up building it. Worth the efforts for sure, goes together quite well.

Good to see one built, it turned out well.

I put one together back in the '90s, it went OK and still sits in my cabinet.

Thanks, I likely won't give this one away any time soon myself. I love how it looks on the shelf.

Hey Kurt, thanks for saying! The purple looks pretty great really with the white interior. Funny thing is I have the Monogram version as well. I plan on building it soon also, just for the difference in construction but I am sure the Tamiya one went together a lot better than the Monogram one will. Yeah, still see these sold all over the place but rarely see them built. Can you imagine how many were manufactured between Tamiya and Monogram? Just a ton!

Well you've gone and done it. I was so taken with your build that the next time I went out to the garage I dug through a few boxes and found the kit. Didn't start work on it yet but it's on the pile for some time  during the long and cold coming winter on the prairies. {global warming hasn't found us yet}.
