Here is the GW Trucks Detroit Diesel 6V92T (as yo know, the kit comes with a Detroit Diesel 8V92N) Mock up of what I'm looking for: I think the rear suspension need to go a little further back. Jim B Posted January 4, 2021 Author Share Posted January 4, 2021 Thanks, Stephen. This build will be a little different that the box-stock I usually do. Kind of out of my comfort zone with this one. I've already shortened the frame a little to accommodate the GW Trucks shorter hood (an managed to cut off the engine mounts in the process). The spring rear suspension is from the AMT GMC Astro, as I'm not planning on using the stock air-ride setup. I figured that was more appropriate for a "bare bones" truck a lumber company might buy.
