PHPaul
Finally finished the NEAPCO 4WD conversion on the 5 window. Fireball Model Works Ford F250 4wd kit plus wheels and tires, Model Car World laquer in Forester Green, wired and plumbed engine. I see with photographic lighting that I didn't get the paint all the same tone (not enough coats I suspect) but other than that, I'm pleased with the way it came out and learned a few things. Chariots of Fire
Been there, done that, Paul. I've painted parts at different times forgetting how many coats that I applied and got similar results. But I like what you did. Don't see many raised Chevy's of that day. PHPaul
Thanks, everyone. LONG way to go compared to most of the posters here, but get a little better with each project.
Kromolly
I thought the variation in your paint was intentional. It has a nice patina in the light, like faded lacquer and maybe some touch up over the life of an old pickup. Really cool build Paul. I built that same kit 25 years go, out-of-box. I posted pictures in the introduction yesterday. I like your modifications.

BeakDoc
Looking good! Dang cameras these days are always showing things I didn’t know I’d done. To the other fellows’ point, it does look intentional. Nothing wrong with a happy accident and nothing wrong with this build. Nice detail under the hood too, BTW. bisc63
Love it! Nice idea and build, it reminds me of something the Forestry Service might have used way back when...
