I've downloaded a few files from cults3d, but I'm not having much luck finding anything model car related at the various sites I've visited.

cults3d is awesome wheels, engines and lots of misc parts i even take full scale parts and resize them into 1:24 or 1:25

Great project Joakim!  It's a drag car so it's right up my alley!!! ?

I assume that your parts are printed using SLA (photopolymer resin) and not FDM as they look very clean and accurate?

I read somewhere that 3d parts are very sensitive to sunlight.  Do you know if paint can protect the parts from distortion?  Maybe an experienced modeler with 3d printed parts can answer this question?  Anyway, I love 3d technology, it offers so many possibilities.

Yes it's SLA and using Anycubic photon mono printers. It's UV light that hardens the resin and i have not noticed any distortion after. the resin becoms more brittel if hardened too much. my parts is cured under uv light for 7 minutes after finished printing.

My 2 cents, if it's gonna be a true old style drag racer, the one's on the left.  The larger with low profile tires is more  of a resto mod look.

What you guy's think??

I really think i will go for the bigger wheel to the right :)

It's your model to build as you wish but if I were building a drag car I would definitely use the wheels on the left.

Yeah....the tires on the right are more of a classic cruiser style.  I'd go with the ones on the left.

Hmmm wheel choise in the front shall be decided later on when chassi and body is together and can see how it looks with stance and everything. :)

You have to be fairly specific in your search but there is a ton of great stuff on cults for model cars. Try BlackBox and MCSDESIGN, from there it can lead you down the rabbit hole

The blower engine looks pretty kewl.  I like new toys ☺  The rear wheels look nice and wide for some big ol meats.

Yep, I've bought stuff from both of those guys. I've tried to be specific with my searches but I still get a lot of stuff that's not even close. Now I just click on all the various tags that are associated with the item I'm looking at.
