Jim B Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Here is my AMT/Polar Lights Snap Fit 1965 Dodge Coronet 500. It is essentially built straight from the box, and it wasn't without its issues. The color is Rust-Oleum Spa Blue. Trim was some with a 2mm Molotow chrome pen. Some interior shots: 2
happy grumpy Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Snappers can build into beautiful models. Your dodge is a great example. Great build. I like the interior. 1
drodg Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Great job. I have built a few of these and they are not that easy to assemble. 1
AMT68 Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Very nice build and the interior detailing is great. I've seen that color at the home center but never on a model and I like it. 1
ea0863 Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 I like the blue exterior and the chromed out interior, but best of all - I like the realism of the engine compartment. Well done! 1
espo Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Great looking OOB build. Clean looking trim and I like the AMT bumper sticker. 1
Jim B Posted October 20, 2022 Author Posted October 20, 2022 Thanks guys. I appreciate it. 2 hours ago, drodg said: Great job. I have built a few of these and they are not that easy to assemble. No, it wasn't terribly easy to assemble. Well, some parts, anyway. I think the air cleaners are too high because the hood doesn't fit right. The holes in the hood don't line up with the air cleaners. 6 minutes ago, espo said: Great looking OOB build. Clean looking trim and I like the AMT bumper sticker. Thanks. The AMT sticker is the only thing that wasn't from the kit. 1
