Probably overpaid but never seen a Torino promo and the only one on fleaBay was in blue.  Small knick on the roof by the A-pillar.  Not sure the GTO has seen the light of day since it was made.

Call it what you will but if you're in need of a nice promo box for that yellow beast eBay has one as a buy now. Under $20 bucks + shipping. I thought I'd throw that out since I remembered seeing your posted promos. ✌?

It is lol. Recently seen a rare Tamiya kit super old for $4,999, but the funniest part was they wanted more for shipping than for the asking price. But lot of the issues besides pricing is the shipping. Like it doesn’t take $30 shipping to ship a small kit.

I can't argue the fact there are some down right ridiculous prices on some listed model kits on ebay and yes the price of shipping has gotten way out of hand too ? if you allow it. Since my home town family owned hobby closed their doors years ago and no one else other than my local Michaels which has over priced kits I have no choice but to buy kits from ebay, model round up and other online stores. Thankfully my local Wal-Mart has started selling newly issued model kits at a fair price. I still find that I can usually buy from eBay cheaper on the newly issued kits. As for vintage kits.. Same thing.. Ebay. If it wasn't for certain circumstances that doesn't allow me the time to go to, I'd be traveling to the model shows / swap meets to buy those vintage kits on my list of must haves. ? Just for the record... No I'm not a prisoner in jail.. ? No No No, I'm a 24/7 care taker of my 98 yr. old Dad. In fact I've got two kits in route from eBay now that were both free shipping and under $25.00 each. A '70 1/2 Baldwin Motion Camaro and a '78 El Camino 3'n1 kit. Still haven't pull the trigger on the reissued Evil iron trike kit yet but I will as soon as I find a good deal. I had that kit as a kid.

That's how the hit man gets paid for "wet work".

He takes "The Job" and then puts something stupid on e-bay with a ridiculous price that happens to be how much he asks to do "The Job"

You "buy now" the item for the ridiculous price in actuality paying for "The Job".

All nice and clean and looks good on the books and if anyone happens to start asking questions.

A couple of times, recently, just because I was checking Ebay frequently, I picked up kits that were freshly-posted with "Buy It Now" prices that I knew were lower than they'd go for, at auction. I just grabbed 'em, right away. Patience and diligence are important for getting a decent deal on vintage kits on Ebay.

A couple of weeks ago, I posted that I had received some SMP decals for Super Stock Magazine's Project Six-Pack Roadrunner. I stated that I guess I'd need to find a '69 Roadrunner kit, for them. Fellow boarder "Rodent" messaged me for my mailing address. Yesterday, this arrived outside my door. Thank you, Steve! I greatly appreciate your kind gesture.

Stopped by HL seeing we were going to be in the area and got the Bronco at the 40% off sale. A can of Turquoise Lacquer. And a can of Color Shift Pink Champagne for $2.99. And I can of Black Chrome for $3.12. I really know nothing about the Black Chrome but I'll figure it out.

Hmm not sure if mine got the new broncos yet. I have one already, but for $20 I’ll take another.

Took a long lunch from work at stopped by Hobby Lobby and grabbed a couple of the Bronco kits. This weekend I will open it up for a good glance inside. That sure is a large box for such a small model kit. Must have some nice goodies inside.

These came today.  Both massive 1/16.

I'm thinking of doing the Nomad as  a street machine. The Cragar S/S wheels and street tires are really nice  Got a can of black metallic for this one. I'll be using both sets of front seats as well as the tires, console, shifter, headers and some speed parts. If you can use the rest of the kit, shoot me a PM . I like everything off road. Kits, tires, parts. Also some 1/16 stuff.

Got some nice old decals and a very dirty old Caddy ambulance in the mail today. Box lid was so rotted I threw it out. Caddy is going straight into the sink to wash.

Later-

Got the Boss 351 today. Decided to throw the LHS a bone since they had it for $29.99 and they had an unscheduled remodeling a few days ago that they need to pay for.

Stole a Civic to ram the door?  Apparently doesn't watch the news that the Tahoe/Suburban is the vehicle of choice for these types of entries.

Surprised it wasn't an immobilizer-less Kia or Hyundai. Gotta steal what is easiest to get, I guess.

Had a surprising number of attempted thefts lately of drive-through ATMs lately as well.

Not making light of the subject but the whole scenario could make an interesting diorama. Just a thought..so many options. The thugs would definitely be in a patty wagon heading off for the justice they so deserve!

Just unboxed som goodies from Texas 3D customs.  I highly recommend the modern short boards. Nice job on the fins Charles.  Also got some big and little 5 slots and Goodyears for an up coming street van I have in the works. Some boggers and  another winch bumper.  ?
