What did you see on the road today?

That CV reminds me of a story. Back when I still lived in NJ I passed a place every day.. an old body shop that no longer had signs and was doing private duty... a bunch of beat up black and whites in one lot, and a bunch of shiny yellow cabs on the other side!  I always thought that would have been a good diorama

These have gotten REAL popular all over the country lately . . .

I don't know who started it, but . . .  very cool.  Delivers quite the message. Your choice: call a cab or call a bail bondsman.   ?

Funny,an elderly couple were driving this CV police car.Probably started life as a Sheriffs car.But it was pretty beat up though.

I would either paint the black parts white, or the white parts black. Or just paint the whole thing some other color. This also looks like it may have been a city PD car since they seem to get the most abuse around here anyway.

Actually it looks like an LA car..This is my 09 CV.Theres just something about police cars that I’ve always liked since I’m a kid.I’ve owned a bunch in the past. This is a great car,low miles and low idle hours. It was a PA detectives car.Flow masters and a bunch of other add on’s.Fast car,and rides like a Caddy. All the lights and siren are still in the car, they’re just disconnected. And a 1970 NYPD car(not mine, but I did offer the guy to buy it,but he said,no way, lol)

You're not fooling anybody.  You like it for the way people look up, see that CV maw in their mirrors and move out of the way for you.  ?

Nope, just always liked police cars.Lol.I don’t really drive it much.I really wanted a Marauder, but couldn’t really find a decent one in my price range,so I went with the CV,and blacked out the whole car.My daily driver is a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. Also a great truck.

I think I’ve seen that car around the city before!

Huh, cool!  I wondered if that might be about what it was, but didn’t know...thanks!

Spotted from the side of the road today, next to the grocery store:

Couldn’t get a better photo without trespassing - I’ll save that for another day ??

At some point I'm going to stop and get a better look at this thing.

Appears to be a 1981 Cordoba. Minty goodness. Body is perfect. I've seen him driving, and it sounds healthy too.

That is a Chrysler Cordoba LS.  Wow to see one nice is something.  I worked for a Chrysler store then and I think it was originally supposed to be a Chrysler 300.  Like they did  in 79 but decided to go away from any performance roots if I remember correct.  I think 80?   You can see the red white and blue emblems like they had on the 300's.

Wouldn't happen to have any pics of the 66 Cyclone in the background here would you? From that brief glimpse, it looks like my dad's old car.
