  2. Hey machinist mark I guess that means my little 2.0 eaton supercharged ecotec driven saturn should be way more capable than the factory rev limited 6,450 rpms I can still feel the car pullin strong then it hits the wall of the factory rev limit booooo
  3. I am in south mississippi there are no shows that I am aware of, its rumor there's one that takes place in louisiana someplace and perhaps on the other side of me too in mobile alabama? I don't know where to go to find out about shows

  5. Thursdsay I got my (complete) ford motorsport 82 imsa racer and the 3 engines with stands (chevrolet I presume them to be) friday I got my "miller" 82 imsa racer (zakspeed powered like the. Forementioned) no decals (debating on whether to paint it black and buy capri zakspeed decals or buy the miLler?) Also with the jot the jps imsa racer. 91' circa (jason player special) whatever that it black and gold (no box or decals). But that's why you get em cheap on the flea bay! Hope my kens fuzzy fur comes today (saturday). Really pumped about this small 1.7 litre ford zaakspeed s cylander pushing well over 500 hp and capable of 9,000 rpm who woulda thought out of that tiny motor??!!
  6. Just wanted to throw out there before my phone dies.... Reptileguy(nick rizzo) And. Bartster (bart deatherage) Are 2 of the coolest cats I know And are now best friends of mine even tho I have never met the fellows a couple of fantastic traders and now lifelong styrene addict friends! Just thought I'd toss out there how great they both are and I highly recommend getting to know them if you don't Already I am constantly talking to the both of them regularlyu and swapping parts often (my wife always haggles me) "oh you must be talking to that bart,or nick guy again". What I can't help it I've got a highly addicting hobby and 2 new great friends. Good folk and I just wanted to comendate them and say"thanks fellas" until next time happy modeling -Danny
  7. I agree with futurabat. I always have a few kits available right now I am plugging away on my fox body capri and mustang kits. Here's what I'm doing..... The revell 1-25 scale turbo cobra mustang is the same flare fendered body as the mer capris and the mclaren mustang sizewise it is compadable with the mpc-amt fox mustang kits I'm using the mpc chassis pans with little modification beside front frame rail trim and relocate, on 1-24 scale the revell monogram chassis are not very detailed, yet they are far supirior to he u.s. Airfix "snapfix" mustangs I have I am carving out the engine bays on those kits and borrowing my revell-mono interior tubs and dashes and chassis plates to make a way better model so I play the shuFfle game with my collection I'm constantly swappin stuFf back and fourth on all myu models. Cheers!
  8. -i build them and I build them well I have aquired. Quite a few fox body kits pace car replica anyone -I have 2 opened them both! building both! 1 t top 1 hardtop love building them no matter how old! I'm right there with you on this good buddy nick!
  9. Is that the 82 mustaNg? I got a couple more imsa racers off flea bay, but I do not think they are that style that's the gta? Nice work so far customizing an already awsome vehicle

  11. Looks awsome rims look similar to cobra r aftermarkets on the 1:1's I think I have those same rims but no rubber to cover the rims awsome build I put that same svo 2.4 turbo in one of my imsa racer glue bomb projects lookin awsome clean pain 2 tone looks factory correct!
  12. Look great they look like the revell monogram 1/24-25 scale ones?
  13. Love me glue bombs as much as I do kits too hope my bombs turn out that nice!
  14. NIcE where's McGyver at? I think his was a little older but square lamps up front nice real lookin build didn't know there was a kit of that year/ style jeep
  15. Survivors? Even with a roll bar I'd imagine a severe rollover in any of those older cars would be like a piece of popcorn in the air popper! Lol
  16. Impressive engine bay! That's a whole lot of shiney black! I'm working on one of these trucks too not sure what year still lookin for hoods -'ve alredy converted it into a custom 4 door crew cab! Dually? I think so lol

  18. There is a animation called gunsmith cats two hot chicks detectives or something one of them drives a NICE shelby GT 500! Also initial D although they have kitted some of the vehicles from that animation, trueno, rx 7 others?
  19. Bartster actually sent me this way -i'm putting together many small parts/ pieces for sean. Stacey to possibly replicate (parts from 79-86 fox body mustangs from mpc). Bartster let me know he really dosn't do body. Shells, so -'m here to find out if anuone would want to cast a mpc/amt body that I removed the cheesegrater taillamps from and all the "gt" sideskirts and ground effects from so its just a body that can be a 79-93 5.0 body I also have the 1/25 revell body that's for turbo mmustang/ mercury capri Let me know
  20. Insructions are always great reference (previously mentioned glue bombs) also it is my "true" model car count inventory (minus flea market e *bay used glue bomb stuff that had no instructions) and of course subtract some of my build ups I have sacraficed traded and given away to other mcm members 3rdly some kits have been re-issued many times over the years sometimes the directions get redone, or changed parts added and subtracted Just plain good to have them around!
  21. I found something that works great too looks almost like that badger tool except casing is orange and the tool is up/down(like a sawzall) motion insted of rotation(its a batt operated pumpkin carver tool) It was so cheap it couldn't cut pumpkins very well(at all for that matter) seems to jossles up and mix my paint great though!
  22. Didn't think there was a whole lot of change body wise 87-93' except for special models like saleens and the cobra
  23. Hopefully this is in the right place, -Ikm sure I'm def not alone on this problem I have. - I have quite a variety of jar paints little 1.5 oz I believe are the small ones and I've got some larger ones(model master) How do folks keep there paints from seperating?? - I go without useing paints for awile and come back after absence from them and the pain has seperated from the 1)oil and 2) water. I do prefer the water based paints simply because its water washup for the brushes, but I do have a lot of enamel paints too where the oils? Seperate from the color/ paint This is so annoying all that vigorous shaking and sometimes iyt seems like the paint is never right again? Do I need to physically stir?(Keep. A full box of toothpicks on hand). Rotate my bottles every so often? Any help on this matter would be great
