  1. Prayers and condolences to his family, friends and the modeling community. Vaya con Dios
  2. By the title of your thread, I thought you meant "Cop Out"
  3. I will probably get one for the show biz connection and my habit of collecting show biz related kits.
  4. A friend of mine had one in High School, his dad picked it up for about $400 or so from a Sailor who was being deployed. It was not the cleanest or the rarest, but, it did have lots of room with the back seat gone and the back turned into basically a wagon! He didn't have license so he asked me to drive us around in it, The only problem with the arrangement was that I myself did not have a license either! It was jacked up in the rear with Cragars all around and super wide tires on it. Yeah, it was a fun car to tool around in and with only a 302, 2 barrel and an automatic trans, we couldn't get into too much trouble. Good times!

That is one sharp Caddy! Nice build!
  6. That is some seriously clean building and attention to detail!
  7. There is a thread on the Monza somewhere around here. Oh! Here it is!
  8. I work on them when I am not too tired, have time or need to unwind. So there is really no time set or limit. Just do as you need or please.
  9. Yes, quite a few folks at the show made some very tempting offers, but, I have wanted one for a while, along with the B-17, so this one is a keeper! But thanks for asking!
  10. Score from the 2016 San Diego IPMS Model Expo. The HK Models 1/32 B-25 Mitchell and Monogram 37 Ford I won at the raffle! The rest was wheelin' and Dealin'!
  11. Very nice build, that is one nice looking race car.
  12. Ok, can you tell the rest of us how to do that? Please Never mind! Figured it out! Just click on the upper right hand corner of the signature!
  13. Unfortunately the guy I got the kit from had glued the chassis together and the wheelbase is a bit off. But it is just a shelf model with no engine in it!
  14. Nice job on a finicky kit! I bought one from a fellow club member that had been "Started" and when I got home I discovered the decals, cylinder heads and a few little parts where gone! Luckily I had some old decals in my stash for the Hawaiian Tropic issue and I used those. But I just picked up a fresh one and plan on doing it in the Pepsi colors.
  15. very cool! I need to build me one soon
  16. That is very cool! Nice build!
  17. Nice! Very nice!! Who's kits are they? I really like that 1200! But that 710 is no slouch either! Great job on both!
  18. Just add some pace car decals and i'll take it!
  19. Quite honestly, I enter local contest to help fill the tables. Not looking to win a thing and if there is a display only type of table, i place my stuff there. So no, not everyone is trying to win And with that said! Come on down to the San Diego IPMS Model Expo on June 4th at the Gillespie Field Aerospace Museum Annex!! And yes, there will be a display only table!!
  20. That is just too cool! Nice job on the model and that is one great GT-40!
  21. Ready to attack the track, the Pylons and the Enemies of Freedom! Nice!!
  22. Wow! You did and incredible job with it! Even thought that kit is pretty bad, it has to be one of my all time favorites if only for the memories! Thanks for the memories!!
