  1. Those are awesome pics, Greg! Wish someone would do decals for the Brizio car
  2. No, it comes with the 32 Rad in it. These re-issues had some of the worst box art builds I have seen in a long time! Its a cool and simple little build model. I started one back then but did not finish it. Will try to find it later and post a pic. But here is the T with a few mods
  3. It is a Switcher and it was also issued a few years ago with the other ones.
  4. This one. One of my all time favorite childhood kits! Glad I have one still
  5. Wow, maybe that is not such a bad kit afterall. Had one, but a friend built it and cut the body up pretty good. Need to find me another one. Great build!
  6. Sent Round 2 a note about the van and this is what i got back: Jesse, it's still on! We had to work out some tooling issues. Should be available in December. Thanks for your interest, John Greczula Model Kit Development Director Round 2, LLC 4073 Meghan Beeler Court South Bend, IN 46628
  7. I have always loved those boxy Lambos! Would get one today if I won the lotto! Very nice job and that color really pops!
  8. That is cool! I need one now!
  9. Very nice!
  10. Went to the Japanese Classic Car Show yesterday and scored a couple of kit. The Ramen Noodle van was just so cool and quirky that I had to buy it! And I brought along my Daytona kit and had John Morton and Pete Brock autograph it for me! Pete Brock was totally surprised by it, especially at a Japanese car show! Had a few guys try to buy it from me on the spot but I politely declined.
  11. I used to see some really dumb things and even dumber drivers back when I used to work at the local track. Seat belts older than the car, no return springs, No overflow cans, no helmets, a guy wearing a batting helmet, and it was a Yankees one if you really must know, Roll bar made out of PVC, bungee cords holding down the battery, hood, driver. Zip tied body parts, fuel tank made out of an old cast iron pipe and rolling loose in the trunk. And many more! But the biggest problem where the new drivers that did not know when to lift. Some thought they were Willy Borsch and tried driving it through only to pinstripe their car and the K-Rail! Some cars where great for cruising but lousy for racing. Poorly setup suspensions, tires that could not handle the power and engines that only looked fast but blew up at the hit! Lots of busted universal joints! Glad the guy lived to tell the tale.
  12. Thanks guys, Glad someone liked it. I only know about it because Michael's Crafts stores are carrying them here locally and I am really thinking of getting one. I see an quick way of wiring up and engine with one of these. So who is responsible for moving it here?
  13. So I post something that is more model related than a thread about parking and it gets moved to off topic? Just another reason to want to leave this board.

  15. Yes, those are the same kits, the only difference to the originals, other than packaging, are the decals. Certain logos had to be left off due to licensing issues and fees. Best place to score one would be ebay or check out the local contest vendors area. Maybe someone around here might have an extra one for trade or....
  16. Both of these morons fail! http://youtu.be/Uud7rcwhI5U
  17. Huh? Please explain. Sure thing! Some of the tool makers in China are defense factories and they can make the heck out of an tank or AK-47 but it does not necessarily mean it will translate to good tooling for a car that most there can't even pronounce. But they can make some really nice Military kits! That is all
  18. Because the guys that make this: Are now making this:
  19. Late 50's and early 60's dragster ran those sizes. I would say up to about '62 or so. The Winged Express before the winged part
  20. I did a quick comparo between the ktis and found almost nothing matched. Close, but no real matches.
  21. Think of the sandwich as the kit, Aunt Edna as the average model builder and the Dog as Revell http://youtu.be/C1Zp7vfyew8
  22. That is wild! I like it!
