  1. Could you please tell us more about that transporter?
  2. Thanks, George! Great trading with you as well!! Will gladly trade with you anytime! Jesse C.
  3. One of the hardest and best running teams in the 70's! Nice job!
  4. Yes, the decals are still available from Slixx. The McEwen car was rebuilt and then driven by Fred Goeske, same guy that drove the only 69 Road Runner funny car, and the car eventually ended up in the Don Garlits Drag Museum. A few years back, the cars owner came for it and Garlits would not let it go, but, eventually relented and the owner got the car back, minus the engine. I assume the car in is currently housed in some collection and who knows when it will be seen again.
  5. Very nice build! Has to be one of the coolest paint schemes ever put on a race car!
  6. The Mongoose 57 Funny car was first issued back in 1989 and the current unit on the shelves is a re-issue. This funny shares its chassis with all the other Monogram/Revell funny cars made in 1/24th since the mid 80's well into the 2000's. With minor alterations and additions, they are all pretty much the same, minus the bodies of course.

  9. That is awesome! That looks spot on from one of their best episodes!
  10. We where just having fun, but yes, a quick internet search will almost always do the job for reference material. Most of us have done our homework and looked up most of this stuff if we don't have reference material ourselves. If one hits a real wall on info, this is where you would pick up the search. And most folks here, including myself, will help out. Just at least show us you put some effort into researching the subject.
  11. I am taking the easy way out, it will be in the SS/C scheme that he won the Nationals in.
  12. I am currently working on one. I am building Grumpy's car. I sourced some headers from the Baldwin Motion Camaro, and they are horrible! Need to find a better set. And yes, for some reason, this kit does not seem to have the same "sharpness" as the Cuda kit. Just finished the S&M 70 Cuda, and it is not a bad kit.
  13. I figured one Cougar funny would pretty much cover them all

  20. Yes, it is molded in orange. And so was the Heavy Hugger Camaro Funny Car from Revell
  21. I have a soft spot for these 70's pseudo street racers! Wish they would re-release a few of them! And yes, got the Orange Hauler and Crate confused! Thanks for the correction!
  22. I just had a crazy thought. Maybe, just maybe, this tool originated with Polar LIghts. Considering how much show biz stuff they are doing and that almost all of it is in the Snap variety, could it be possible that this tool originated that way? Just a crazy thought
  23. No, it is based or looks like, the Cook and Bedwell dragster
