  1. I think that pretty much every version of the MPC Chevette came with this Diorama set of crew men and a canopy
  2. Glad you finished it, it looks great!!
  3. I think that by the time Revell got to scaling down the dragsters, front engine dragsters where fading fast and rear engine was all the rage. I can see where Revell might have thought it would be a bad move to keep making an obsolete car. But one of those in 1/25th would have been miles ahead of the MPC and AMT dragsters.
  4. Had to run up to Los Angeles yesterday, San Dimas to be exact, and stopped at Pegasus Hobbies to see what was on the shelves and i scored two new Comets and a Tamiya Mercedez SLR McLaren that was marked down 50%! Pretty nice little score!
  5. Absolutely, but, there are none to be had in 1/25th and the second best is the 1320 Die Cast, but those are getting hard to find for donors. Next would be the AMT and MPC kits.
  6. Maybe Chuck Boerner might be able to scale downt the decals and we can use them on the MPC dragsters
  7. So pretty much all the latest re-issues of vintage kits where molded in the USA. I am mainly referring to the actual Revell kits from the early 70's And the Mongoose Dragster and RX-7 are originally Monogram Molds. If that matters. Thanks for kinda clearing up the fuzziness
  8. So, who has the early, 70's, Drag subjects? China, Germany or ...?
  9. Yes sir, released during the great Slixx Decals promotion that I don't think anyone used
  10. Maybe this might put a rest on some of the rumors about possible long gone or existing tooling from the past. Train Wreck or not.
  11. Love the Visible Van! I fondly remember seeing it on the counter at my LHS when I was a kid! And that Woodstock kit! I don't think I ever managed to finish it!! Also, I remember an outlet type store my Mom used to shop at that carried the ERTL tractors and farm gear. Good memories!
  12. Is this it? 2005 Carrera 997
  13. Nice paint work! Looks super slick!
  14. Coming along nicely!
  15. The Tamiya Skyline kits are great and you are doing a super job on them! Can't wait to see the results!
  16. I was surprised when Revell did the Attebury Jungle Jim car and not this one. This one was an actual Gene Snow team car, where the Attenbury car was just running the Jungle name
  17. Looks like a Magnesium Supercharger, polished aluminum rear wheels and spun aluminum front wheels
  18. Very cool! I really like that scheme and a friend of mine is thinking of painting his real R-31 in that or the Advan scheme.
  19. Thanks for the reminder! I forgot about this post!
