Thanks, Bill, David and Roger! I appreciate your comments! The nice thing about this color you can't really tell when you have rubbed it out what has been rubbed out and what has not! Also you can't really see the foil on it. I have rubbe out the body, painted the alternate hood, and foiled the windshield and back window which is really all that is needed except for the Nova scripts. So now I am ready to move on to the engine, chassis and interior. Thanks for looking! ?

This one is done! Painted Dupli-Color Bright Aqua Metallic exterior, Krylon Khaki interior, Tamiya Orange engine block. Plug wires and fuel line added to the engine. I may still add heater hoses. The kit was and old Revell/Monogram kit from 1996 so the decals disintegrated on me, even with a coat of clear lacquer. I got the small ones to work and fortunately had another set from a more recent kit for the hood stinger. It went together well but there is a lot of detail with tiny parts. Thanks for looking! ?

Thanks, David! Antenna is in back - I removed the kit piece so I could rub out that area and then I replaced it drilling a hole, cutting a piece of round plastic and sticking a pin in it. Even looks better to me. This one is done! See Under Glass section. Thanks for looking and following along!

I painted this one today to beat the weather. I thought I was going to build it stock but after looking at the kit decals and the other build option for drag racing I think I'll paint the alternate hood tomorrow and build it as the drag option. It will probably be mostly box stock but maybe I can work on some engine detail. The paint is Tamiya Champagne Gold. I'll buff it out tomorrow and get started soon. Thanks for looking! ?

Thanks, David! I appreciate your comment! This one is done except for decals and the outside mirror. I'll put the stinger decal on first and leave the mirror off until that's done so I don't knock it off in the process of putting the stinger on. Happened to me more than once. Finishing to this point took awhile since there is a lot of detail and tiny parts. So here are some photos. Thanks for looking! ?

Great attention to detail on this one! What a wonderful job and very realistic replica, Greg! Nice work! ??

Interior is in and body is on! It was a tight fit but the only thing I lost was the fit of the wiper canister on the left side inner fender. I did manage to turn it upright and glue it to the floor. You really can't see it so its not a big deal. I repainted and rubbed out the hood today and it works fine. Just have to remember to pull back on it a little when closing it. Wheels and hardware next and this one should be done. Thanks for looking! ?

Thanks, again, All! I really appreciate all the nice comments! ?

Thanks, Bill, Tom, and David! i appreciate your comments! The interior is done. Lots of tiny detail but you can't see much with my camera. Foil, chrome pen, and some black and brown paint. Thanks for looking! ?

Finished the engine and have the rear suspension and tailpipes installed. Added plug wires by taking out the sides of the distributor shield and gluing the wires to the inside of the shield. No need for a coil as it is inside the shield with the distributor. Added a fuel line and drilled holes for the heater hoses. wire looms are glued to the valve covers for the two forward plug wires in each side. I'll add the air cleaner decal at final assembly. The clamp is holding the exhaust pipes in place until the glue dries. Body has also been foiled. Not too much to do there. Still waiting on the weather to repaint the hood. Thanks for looking! ?

Jim I don't mind at all! Dupli-Color rattle can followed by Krylon Clear Lacquer rattle can after 1/2 hour flash period.

This one is done. Tamiya Candy Lime Metallic exterior with a black and tan interior. Windows are tinted with Tamiya Smoke and the wheels are from the 60 Chevy Impala that I just finished before this one. I gave it a coat of wax, added the mirrors and decals for a last step. See WIP for other steps. I didn't add the wide stripe decals as I don't like them. One additional thing - Since the passenger window fell in, I thought I might try to cut it down. Then I could mount it from the outside in a partially rolled down position, like I intended it to be that way! So when model building gives you limes, make limeade! (see what I did there?) ?Thanks for looking! ?

Thanks, David and Jim! I appreciate your comments! David, I am going to use the hood stinger but I still want to repaint the hood. Jim, I'm just going to spray each side of the hood with one pass. I may do it with the hood in place on the body so that it blends. But first, I have to wait for better weather. Thanks for looking! ?

Almost done! Just mirrors and decals to finish. The kit went together very well, pins and receivers throughout. A lot of it went together without glue and then I just put a dab of glue on the pin after it was through the hole. I think the wheels worked out well and the poseable steering works. The only issue is that the passenger window fell in after I got everything together. I am not going to try to take it apart as I am sure I will break pins. But with the window out, it does give a look into the interior. I am going to give it a coat of wax, then mirrors and decals and this one will be done. I am not going to use the double wide stripe decals, just the badges and Dodge lettering. Thanks for looking! ?

Thanks, Tony and Carl! I appreciate your comments! Installed the window glass today but first I did a light tint on the windows using Tamiya Smoke. I was a little worried about it as I haven't done this before, I had to paint in the garage because it is raining, and there is no failsafe. If you screw up the paint on the windows, you're stuck with it. But I am happy to report that all went well, including the sun visor painted on the windshield which has no other tint. I also didn't like the kit wheels although I had previously painted them Bright Aluminum. I don't like five spoke wheels that the spokes are split so that it looks like ten spokes to me. So as luck would have it the 60 Chevy Impala that I just finished had a perfect set of Chrome wheels that are the same size, both tire and wheel and they will fit with the axle retainer from the kit. Here are a few photos. Thanks for looking! ?

Thanks, Greg, Jim, and Bruce! I appreciate your comments! Rubbed out the body and hood and the body looks really good but I took a little too much off the nose of the hood so I will have to give it another coat of paint. But I'll have to wait until next week as it is going to be raining until then. Thanks for looking! ?

Thanks, Guido, Luis and Carl! I appreciate your comments! Well I ran into a problem with the red Corvette. I rubbed out the body and exposed some edges so I touched up and added another coat of clear. But that turned out cloudy and rough. I also noticed what appeared to be a glue drop on the left front fender and when I picked it off, of course, I exposed the white plastic. So this body is headed to the oven cleaner bath. I thought I had another in the closet so i looked and low and behold, a kit still in the wrapper. Since it is going to be raining and cold this weekend I quickly got this one in paint including all the parts today. I painted it Dupli-Color Bright Aqua Metallic with a tan interior. The red one will have to wait. This color is close to Lynndale Blue Metallic it appears to me so I think it will work out well. I rub it out tomorrow and start on it as soon as I finish the 2021 Charger. But I won't have plenty to do while its raining! Thanks for looking!

The chassis is done and I have trimmed the windshield and rear glass with a black Sharpie using the paper templates in the kit attached with Handi-tak. Time to install the glass. Thanks for looking!

Finished the front suspension and although it was a bit fiddly, it is poseable which is a plus for me. The engine and engine compartment build up well and I didn't have any issues with a gap in the shock towers. The instructions suggest Body Color for the firewall but all the photos I have seen show black. Thanks for looking! ?

This is a Revell California Wheels kit that gave me a few fits due to the windshield/interior/body fit, but its done. Painted Dupli-Color Universal Black and I used an old can of WalMart Flame Red on the interior. Interior seat and door inserts are Scale Motorsports houndstooth pattern decal (incorrect but its what I had on hand). Plug wires, heater hoses and a fuel line with glass filter added to the engine. Antennas were modified with Jewelry Shoppe Pins. Thanks for looking! ?

Looks great, Jason! Nice work! ??
