  1. I've been waiting 3 years now for my order. Jeff stopped answering my emails about a year ago. He has now finally shut down the website. I guess that all of us who haven't received our orders probably won't.
  2. Nice work. Love the black and whites. Could you tell me where the dog dish hubcaps caps came from? Been looking for some just like them.
  3. Very nice! Looks like it was meant to be. Always wondered if the 1/32 pump body would fit well with a 1/25 cab. Now I know.
  4. Awesome work Dwayne. Can't wait to get my hands on this one. If your taking orders put me down for 3 of them.
  5. Really awesome job. I bought one of these from Shapeways so I know how much work you put in to this. Maybe I'll get mine done someday. Keep up the great work.
  6. Hi Dwayne, was wondering if you're taking orders for this one yet??? Could use two or three of them.
  7. Wow! Didn't know you could make those Daytonas look so good. Have a couple of these. Might have to tackle one some day myself. Great work. Can't wait to see it finished
  8. That turned out great. Keep up the awesome work!!! I got to get back to building. Been busy with yardwork for the last week and a half. Soon hopefully???
  9. I wasn't going to start on this yet but got a bit antsy waiting for paint to dry on the Chevelle yesterday. Cleaned up the body a bit and shot with primer. Still needs some work. Did some adjusting to the suspension to get it to sit better but still not exactly where I want it. Monogram sbc engine fits right in. Going to put it aside for now and finish up a couple of other projects first.
  10. Very nice looking build. Love the engine detail. Great work!
  11. Very nice!!! Is this a plastic kit or diecast?
  12. Looks pretty accurate to me. No chrome at all but really doesn't need it. Overall a rather nice kit using the Monogram GM chassis.
  13. Great build. Always liked this great looking Pontiac
  14. Awesome job on the paint. Those multi tones can be a bit tricky. Never used Krylon. Looks like it goes on real nice. I use Tamiya most of the time because it's rather idiot proof and I kind of fall into that category. Paint is not my strong suit. Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see the finished product.
  15. I've posting my progress on this one as "Salvino JR suspension on MPC Chassis" but now that in in the final stages I decided to start a new thread. I won't bother going through everything done up till now. If you want to see that you can go to the old thread. Most everything has been sprayed except body. Now it's time to break out the brushes and detail parts. Hope to have this all completed within a week or so. Will be posting as things progress.
  16. I think it's actually modified from the Monogram Nascar and the frame/suspension from their 86 Monte SS kit. Looks to be 1/24 scale
  17. Didn't know they were out yet. Just ordered 3 from Mike's. Thanks for letting me know.
  18. Just got in today my 2 80s Street Stock Monte Carlos from Decko Car Co. and they are nice! He sells them on Ebay with starting bid at $75.00 or buy it now for $100.00. A little pricey but like I said "nice"!!! Chassis is molded in one piece but not sure how he does it. Very nice detail. Comes with 4 mounting screws to attach body to chassis. He is on Facebook and might sell direct but not sure. Tire are sold separately for $25.00 and come already lettered with 2 mud plugs and 1 bead lock. Also very nice. Won't be building for a bit as I need to finish up a few others first. Will post progress when I start one.
  19. Thanks and I agree, but the Salvino parts just kind of fall right in place. This was a fun build anyway to show what MPC should and probably could have done back in the day. That and I needed a break from the Impala which I am using AMT parts on. They absolutely do look much more accurate.
  20. Been working on the Chevelle this week. Should finish up the cage tonight. A little sanding and cleanup, then primer tomorrow. Maybe ready for paint tomorrow night on chassis. Hope to have this one done in a week or two then back to the Impala GN.

  22. WOW!!! That has to be the nicest AMT Nova I've ever seen. Love the engine. Fantastic work....
  23. In 1972 James Hylton drove the #35 for Bub Strickler to a 5th place finish at Jacksonville in Grand National East division
