  1. Thanks for sharing this. It looks great as a road version. Stunning in yellow! A road version was something I had contemplated doing, but figured that sourcing treaded 1/12 tyres would be tricky. Good to know they were included in your kit though. I wonder if Tamiya are including those treaded tyres with the latest release of this kit.
  2. Great work. I also thought it was the Lorinser version, but I see it doesn’t have the rear spoiler. I actually prefer it without. Those wheels look just perfect!
  3. Love it! Not just a great model, but I bet as much work went into making the video. I’m a fan.
  4. That paint job came out really well. Your airbrush finish looks good enough as it is. Probably won’t need much polishing.
  5. Wow. What a kit! Impressive work so far. The Miura is probably my all time favourite poster car. I’d love to build a 1/8th some day. I’ve never tackled anything bigger than 1/12 scale.
  6. Oh wow. That is such a cool wagon. I love it ????
  7. That looks great as a 3-window. Very much like a Willys. The split rear screen gets my thumbs up too.
  8. Good work so far. I can tell this is going to be another epic build. I’ll be watching. The FXXK is on my build list, but the carbon fibre decal work is scaring me off a little.
  9. I love the ‘40 body shape. This is looking good even before paint.
  10. Great looking model. Some of those pics can pass as a 1:1 car!
  11. Very nice build. Looks like a good kit. I’d like to build one of these to display alongside a classic Beetle.
  12. Wow. How great to see one of these built up. I’ve never seen anyone build an RS1600i version. It looks fantastic - especially on BBS wheels. I had this kit as a Matchbox branded re-issue, purchased for £4.99 in Toys-R-us in the 90s. I think all versions of this kit are super rare now.
  13. What a great colour choice. Very nice build ??.
  14. That is simply beautiful! Thanks for sharing your building notes.
  15. Very nice build indeed. Nothing wrong with using box art colours. These Meobius kits are great.
  16. Very impressive.
  17. Yet again, I am speechless by the attention to detail and workmanship. I would never have thought of having recesses on the back of the license plate. Outstanding work ??
  18. Loving that paint. This is going to be wild.
  19. Shame about the chrome. I don’t get on well with real BMF even at the best of times. Good luck second time round. The Beetle engine looks good too.
  20. This is coming up nicely! I must admit decal work like this scares me. You’ve done well. I hope you’re all mended after your accident now.
  21. Very nice model. Great photography too.
  22. Very nice. You done well to fit the front and rear body panels so nicely. I found the fit of those parts awful in this kit. You made it look good though. I also build Fujimi’s 928 S4, and the panel fit on that one was fine.
  23. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that colour combo on a 512. It really works ?? i build a 360 in the same blue, but with a boring black interior. I now think red would’ve been cool. The Keonig alongside looks great too.
  24. Great looking seats ??
  25. Cool idea! Reminds me of the lifted 959. Paris to Dakar style.
