Well she is done! You will see a few non existing items..such as steering box, battery and a windshield. Windshield would not conform to the shape, I used various plastics and even .10 clear window material, no go! So that was left off, I didn't wanna risk breaking items. No battery due to none I liked. I will add a resin battery box in the future. I'm just glad to complete it, I was getting burned out.. I got some weathering powders in the mail, so Ill add them to it when they arrive. Thank you Don for the stacks! They fit perfectly. (the whitewalls cracked, so i had to remove them from the rear tires, i had no solvent! ------ Details are- Buick nailhead from tommy Ivo kit. Torqueflight transmission from a revell 1941 street rod. Seat is from AMT 1941 Ford woody-(back seat) Rear wheels are from Revell Merc. Body is a cut down 1953 Ford from AMT. Front caps are generic smoothie moons from AMT with Revell 1941 Chevy hubcap decals applied. I love that series! You can check out Griggs racing also, for some good footage too. They like Maximum motorsports make some top of the line road racing mustang parts. -

Rat rod drag car
RyanSilva replied to Hillbilly Deluxe's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
If its a drag car..strictly, i would use 1 racing seat. wrap it in a mexican blanket..or stripe material from a craft shop. Takes some looking to find small print stripes in multi-colors but it is worth it! -
Rat rod drag car
RyanSilva replied to Hillbilly Deluxe's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Granted its pretty tacky in the real world, but use a mexican blanket covering a drag seat..never saw one before in a model! -
Worked flawless for me, no signs of spyware or virus either.

Revell Discontinuing NASCAR Model Kits
RyanSilva replied to larrygre's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Maybe just maybe, without nascar licenses, revell will put the funding towards faster kit tooling, or drag racing (granted drag racing has been a long while, since being produced '03?!) or just more kits being issued in general. (i am happy with whats come and has come out by revell) -
Great Close up Camera, Sony DSC-W150
RyanSilva replied to stevehansen's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
Sony uses there own memory stick called Duo. Its smaller tan SD and most of sony cameras do not accept SD cards. I stick to canon for that very reason. Canon a590 is 109 bucks at newegg.com, pretty much the best bang for buck you can possibly get. Plus they make a lens adapter ring for it, to use 52mm camera lens! Hello fisheye and macro. -
That finished up great clay, glad to see it finished!
