hey all my new workbench .. i could choose to make a room for myself upstairs or give my son one big room .. off-course i went for the last option , he needs some space growing up .. i could make a big bench in a nother earea upstairs and i have a large shed , the shed is to cold and moist in winter time .. and since i was building at the dining table for a while now i realised the living room was the best place .. i build a lot and then we are all together ... one is watching tv one is on the tablet , i'm building but we still are together and can comunicate last summer i bought a hudge secretaire desk with a rolling shutter (??) looked like this > redone it for the pc > result > shutter down and now i made a workbench out of it , all the drawers are deep and in the middle there is a very wide shallow drawer so plenty of room for tools and stuff.. for the handy in reach stuff i use aq lot i made 2 small shelf cases next to the screen shutter down and it just looks good .. especially in your livingroom you want to be able to hide the clutter ... best thing is i can build , have most of my paints and tools in reach .. i have a screen in fron of me i can look up things or put a picture oon for reference and just look up and see it .. i can watch tv online , we habe kpn in holland and then you also have all the channels online ... real handy for all my kits and parts i have a notehr closed closet in the livingroom

well due to the service station diorama this build had come to a a stand still ...lol today after finishing my new workspace i got the tudor out and made some spark plug wires ....

well can also becheap plastic model kits right ? what about a bmw c35i ?? to modern ?? and well i was sceduled to work tomorrow ...but the work was pretty slow and in the end i could take thursday off so tomorrow i'm not working .. then i would call about friday .. i think friday will be a workday usually pretty busy on fridays .. i hope i can take a nother day off btw this evening i have slapped together a workspace in the livingroom , i bought a old style secretaire desk a while ago and painted it white and weathered the paint so it looks worn .. put my pc in there with a really really big screen .. i swapped to a smaller screen .. (looking at that now and need to get used to a smaller screen lol) i hung the lcd on a backplate and i made like small shelfs beside the screen , where my paints and glues and tools are in ... this way i dont need to get everything out of the closet .. and everything is in reach .. the nice part is there is a rolling shutter (rollend luik) and when i'm done i can leave what ever i'm building and just close it .. untill now i just build on the dining table .... worked fine btw the great parts is i have my lcd screen in front of me .. so i can look things up and when i buiold see it in front of me .. also i can sit and build and watch tv online with kpn online hahahaha i could have made a modest small but nice modelroom upstairs (still redoing the rooms) but i had to choose > small room for my son and a modelroom for me .. or a big room for my son and no modelroom for me .. off course i choose the big room for my son , diodnt have to because it was my idea lol but he also needs his own space growing up .. i also had a option of a fairly big workspace upstairs in a big corner beside the staircase (op de overloop die heel groot is). but in the end .. i have been building in the living room for 2 years now and i must say that is the best spot .. we all are tehre as a family , wife watches tv , son on his tablet and i'm building .. but we are still together and interact .. i build a lot and long hours in the weekends .. that would mean i'm upstairs alot and thats not ..... i also have a nice shed , smae issue never in the house and in winter time its too cold there but i'm real happy with my new space now

with some daylight shining through the windows and door with the new singage also did some signs on the outside so it was a tad more dressed up there now ..i have to think about what dio to build next !!

well it just went smoothly i build like one to two hours every day and most weekends all day i won 40€ so i had 10€ profit .. thinking about what to do buy a new ticket or ..... and yes i'm very curious on that dio .. some wrecks in a line up maybe ?? or are you only going to do a hill(s) maybe on marktplaats you can find a few supercheap cars to use as wrecks ? i maybe have a vintage corvette kit for you .. i have like 3 of those .. if you want to use it for the monster truck .......you can have one

sure ... but with the hour rate ...i hope you got the jackpot last night on the oudejaarsloterij :lol: :lol: but ... with your skills arno .. and seeing you really love diorama's .... just start one quick i'm sure you will get so into that .. its addictive
