yuup i was building some stuff and making signs lol happy new years everybody ...

awsome body , one i want to desparetly build myself

did some more signs on the inside , my idea is we do all brands so you will see several car parts brand signs pontiac v8 , exide batterys and champion chevy parts and a mobilgas sign mopar and a nother battery sign everybody have a awsome new years

thnx both .. and well that why i called it finished ... its at a point where its a risk to go to far and put in too much ...

thnx thnx haha started to do some signs already on the inside i just messure the size of what was there and print out new signs ... and place them over the old ones .. finally i can do what i wanted to do when i was building this .. then i didnt had a printer so i ripped stuff out of a hotrod book lol did the garage logo above the door old style valvoline sign above the grease / oil corner a ford v8 parts sign above the bench and made a start on the door with a nother ford parts sign the other big signs will be redone as well , like the 2 above the stairs and on the other picture beside the column drill not going to be a extensive job , just change that and clean up some smalls ... the rest will be kept like i was .. too much hours put in to redo stuff ...and i def will build a new garage in the future where i can do things even better , at least at this point i feel a lot of things i can do nicer ...(hope lol)

since i now have the possibility to design / print and ... signs .. and i didnt had that possibility when i did the big garage .. i decided to go and make signs , started on the outside .. i will make more for the inside and really do signage that fits much better ... the ounces inside atm where cut out of a hotrod book vanavond na het "klaar" benoemen van het servicestation eens de garage tevoorschijn gehaald.. aangezien ik nu een techniek had ontwikkeld om op papier geprinte logos te maken en dit bij de bouw vd garage niet kon / de mogelijkheid niet had .. besloot ik hier eens wat toevoegingen te gaan doen .. used the sign i designed for the servicestation , fits here perfectly as well other side and made a ford service sign

well i decided just a hour ago i am calling this one "finished" .. i was sitting at the table with the dio and thought . at this point its just trying to get idea's .. i'm sure in the future i will add small things ..same i do on car builds .... but for me at this point its done i think the real endpics on location will be made in the beginning of the summer but since the weather is soo mild here in holland atm i might do some winter pics .... anyway thnx to everybody for the great replyes and enthousiasm !!!

made a lightfixture in front of the pumps under the round sign bend some sprue and made struts from styrene , found a sort of dish ... painted it red , ties in with the red on the building there found a nice plastic light glass thingy a bit of pigment powder and mounted it downtoned the rustpigment , the crack i made on purpose same as the broken off piece

painted and weathered the new lightfixtures today and when i glued them in place i saw the sun shining outside .. so i went outside to shoot some picstures with no sun complete dio , its hard to take pics because i hold it up above the wooden fence with one hand and shoot pics with a gsm with my other hand one inside , i made 3 struts to the large light for extra support

hmm that actually looks very good ! maybe even wash it with a watery wash .. but out of the can thats a great surface for pics already !!

thnx and yes maybe some cables would look cool also started the light fixtures on the garage sign .. that was a hard one 3 versions later this was the best i could come up with.. still looks a bit weird in styrene but i think with paint and weathering they will come out nice the middle one is a fixture that lights the street in front of the door

just started on the first light fixture .. real simple with some old sprue rods , a lego cao and a real led (no sadly not working , something i want to do in the future) kept it simple and rough build wise .. that way it fits betetr in the theme .. would i build a perfect looking thing it would not fit in gave it a matt army green and sprinkled some rust pigment , on these pics it was just srinkled on , so the effect looks dramatic , on the pics below you will see the end effect after brusing it off after brushing of the pigment and placing the lightpole ... nice and dark so it does not attract to much attention and blends in def/ makes the sign more realistic

simply awsome , the skidmark is such a cool detail ... loving this !! (as usual haha)
