  1. I ordered one this morning. Kool. Very kool.
  2. Thanks. Payday is tomorrow. Guess what I plan on buying?
  3. Ooo! I like it! Something you made? Or something one can go out and buy? I want one.
  4. I've seen that one before. Isn't that cool? I love the Petty Turbine/Nascar Car and matching Daytona Transport done up like that. And Sven's models are all that nice. He has done several other cool and beautiful concepts over the years. I've drooled over his work on his website more than a few times.
  5. Your right! Four down. With four more to go. Come on Round 2, let's see those last four before I get too old. And senility or death comes knocking.
  6. Beautiful Mach 1!
  7. Tough finding a 1/25 scale car small enough in the back of the truck.
  8. My favorite? Probably AMT's '57 Thunderbird. I love all of the AMT Annual and Trophy kits from the 1950's and 60's. And the MPC Annuals from the 70's. Jo-Han's Chrysler Turbine Car ranks also high. Renwal's motorized Visible V-8 was another old favorite.
  9. As noted before. Five down. And three more needed to go.
  10. ??? What does the above mean?
  11. Beautiful. A very nice build.
  12. Finally. The 1/32 scale '63 Sting Ray I've been waiting for over the last few months. I hope it sells well enough so we can see the rest of the other 1/32 All-Star series kits that still need to be reissued. For me, the '60 Thunderbird is very high on my want list. Followed by the '32 and '40 Fords. The Watson roadster is not terribly high on my list. But if they bring it back, and I hope they do, I'll buy one.
  13. X2. Those two generations during those years listed here above.
  14. Drool. I want one. Too bad I was too young at the time this was released.
  15. A lovely model of the best car ever to come out of Japan (IMO). Beautiful.
  16. I'm working on a Stevens-Duryea Touring right now. I'm impressed with these Pyro Brass Era car kits. With a little work, they build up very nicely. Fun to see that someone else has been building one recently. And it looks pretty good too.
  17. I'm working on the Pyro 1911 Stevens-Duryea Touring right now. Doing a general web search lead me to this thread. Very cool. I love some of those early horseless carriages. It's fun to build something different from time to time. Just finished MPC's Stutz Bearcat a couple of weeks ago.
  18. I too kind of like the smell of bottled enamel paint. But, I could never seem to get away from brush marks until I switched to acrylic paint. The spay enamel always gave me orange peel. No matter what I did. So for that, I switched to spraying lacquer. My models look 100% since making those switches years ago.
  19. I found two plus sides to Testor's Model Master Instant Adhesive. Both dealing with the design of bottle's dispensing tip. First, the bottle comes with two separate caps. One for the dispensing tip itself. And another for the top of the bottle overall. Because of this, on the second time using the product, there seemed to be less of a mess than I found from using other forms of "super glue." Both caps came off nicely. And I found no messy debris from the previous usage. Second, the dispensing tips design helps place the glue exactly where I want it. Again, more control and less of a mess. These are two good recommendations for this product, if nothing else.
  20. It says "2 New 1960 Models in One Pack!" That doesn't sound too vague to me.
  21. You are correct. It would be a Pacer. Ranger and Corsair did not offer a convertible. And the Citation convertible looked different. With much more elaborate cove trim and the bigger Mercury shared body shell.
