  1. What does this mean for us non-techy guys. Is there something bad going on here? I've been coming here for several years now. And not encountered any problems that I know. What would I be looking out for?
  2. The two cars shown in the link above do nothing for me. When I think of LeMans and Porsche, I still think of the blue and orange Gulf-Porsche 917s. Still some of the best looking Porsches ever.
  3. Don't forget the problem with the vent wing windows. Correct for '68. But not for '69.
  4. There is nothing in the latest Round 2 video that I have interest in parting my hard earned bucks for. I'm a bit disappointed.
  5. It looks better than I would have expected. Especially from Palmer. The only thing that looks wrong to me. And this is true with the MPC kit shown above too. Are the fake vents on the front fenders. Is that the way they looked without the factory stripes?
  6. Bill might be right on everything he has to say above. But, still I like what I'm seeing. It looks pretty cool from both the pictures you posted John, and the box art photos. I know little to nothing about real drag cars. But again, I like the looks of this. Thanks John for sharing this with us. And I'm hoping to maybe hear more about it when you get to building it. I like reviews like this. Whether the kit is a piece of BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH. Or totally inaccurate as this kit maybe. Not everybody sees things in the exact same way. As they say, "One man's junk is another man's treasure." And how am I going to know if it's junk or treasure to me, without seeing it? So, again thanks John.
  7. Wow! That was cool. Just plain fun to watch. I loved mock fire drill. And then cringed, minutes later at the real fire. I was also surprised at how many of those cars I could identify. Maybe not exact model or year. But, by make quite a few. Thanks for sharing this with us Richard. It was quite a treat.
  8. It looks pretty cool. But, look at that first picture, it looks like it would be terribly uncomfortable to drive. Especially for any length of time.
  9. Like others have said above, I too think it would look good if it was finished.
  10. My favorite Ferrari. (Not that particular car. But all '62 and '63 GTOs.)
  11. Thanks Snake. I have an old IMC Avenger GT-12 kit. I've been considering using the old decals that came with kit, but they look a little iffy. I'm hoping this may allow me to still use them.
  12. I'd love to see more pictures. And hopefully none on their side, like the above. A little better lighting would help too. It looks great from what I can see.
  13. I didn't even know Microscale made the above. Have ordered a bottle. I'll be curious to see how it works.
  14. I've always been a "big" car fan. But, more of the 1960's. As some of may know my present project is building an AMT 1965 Imperial Crown convertible. I love Buick Wildcats. Letter series Chrysler 300s. 1962 - '71 non-letter 300s. '63-'68 Pontiac Grand Prixs and 2+2s. Thunderbirds, Rivieras, and Toronados. Ford XLs. Mercury S-55s and Marauders. Plymouth Sport Furys. And of course, 1955 - 1975 Imperials.
  15. A great lawn mower. I didn't see a single standing blade of grass after any of the above Stratos went by.
  16. Still of the most beautiful cars ever designed.
  17. I'm not seeing first generation RX7 in this car at all.
  18. I have mixed feelings on the car in the video. From the front, I like it. The back? It looks like a kit car one would put on Volkswagen Beetle chassis back in the 1970's.
  19. In many ways a beautiful car. But.... There is no way that thing could be fun to drive. As it's been said, "form follows function." This just "form." I am very surprised to that the car can somewhat function. I remember seeing this car in past magazines and books. I always assumed with that design, the car was just a static display model. It's a pleasant surprise to see that the car was actually designed so it could be driven. It makes me appreciate it for the first time since I've known on it.
  20. It looks okay. And yes it would be nice to see that type of Cadillac appear as a kit. (Hopefully with the option to build a stock version.)
