  1. This is the old IMC, later Testor's and then Lindberg kit. I've got mixed feeling about this one. A tough build. And flimsy when finished. But, a neat subject. A couple of changes I made. I never like the white with blue accents of the real car's interior. A couple of years ago Hot Wheels did a white Mustang II with a solid blue interior. I liked that one much better, so I copied that idea. I was going to add the blue stripe decals. But, after seeing it sitting there in it's plain white pearl Tamiya lacquer, I decided to leave it that way. Again, I don't know how I feel about this kit. It turned out okay. But no we're near great. Will I ever build another one? No. It's a crappy model of a cool car. Now to finish it's Cougar II sister kit. I hope that turns out a little bit better.
  2. This was built from an AMT reissue of the original MPC '69 Mustang Mach I kit. As noted in Tim Boyd's book, Collecting Muscle Car Model Kits, even though MPC claimed it to be a Mach I. It is not. The kit has always come with GT hub caps and gas filler cap. Not correct for a Mach I. So that's how I decided to build this one, without the Mach I decals. Making it a GT. I still need to find correct GT stripes for the car. Otherwise it's done.
  3. I assume it's complete? And if so, what's a reasonable offer? I'd be very interested in it. PM if you would le please.
  4. Very nice. A kit Revell(?)/Monogram needs to reissue.

  15. I'm glad Casey bought this one back. I missed it the first time, and found it interesting to read.
  16. I wonder if there is any chance that the Ventura II version of this kit could ever make a come back? The Ventura II variation of AMT's '72 Nova kit is the reason that the kit came with the seperate front fenders.
  17. I'm a little surprised that nobody had a comment, good or bad, on this one. I like the kit, and am very pleased with how it turned out.
  18. Beautiful.
