  1. Another one where the box art sells me, if nothing else. And I like contents in the box too. Yea the kit was designed 60 years ago. But, I don't mind that. I like the simplicity of those old kits. They build into beautiful renditions of the real cars. I too would love to see the '60 Imperial reissued if possible. Any of the original 58's, 59's, 60's or old Craftsman kits would be welcome in my collection.
  2. Sorry to say, but I think the "Super Trailer" (Display Case Trailer) kit sucks. The clear upper section of the kit is almost impossible to build. In fact I've never seen one built using the clear upper section. I've got one that I've been working on for several years now. The clear parts are the only thing that has stopped me from finishing the kit.
  3. All right! I love this series of kits. Simple and beautiful kits. And vehicles I like. Now they need to reissue the '32 (3-window!) and the '40.
  4. I'm looking forward to this one. I love the box art.
  5. In the mean time, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everybody out there. Scott Aho
  6. The video is coming. Then you'll know I'm right.
  7. I can't help it. It goes so good with egg nog.
  8. The GTX convertible goes on my list.
  9. Sure. Of course they come back out with that one, shortly after I bought and built an original. For years I had wanted one of these. I never thought it would see the light of day again. So, I hunted down and bought an original. Oh well. I like the model. And the Coca-Cola markings. So I may have to buy another one. By the way, the Buyer's Choice version above, has cover art that may make you think you were getting the Sedan Delivery version. You were not. In the that box was the version that built either a Tu-Door Sedan or a Phaeton. Despite the picture, it did not have the blanked out side panels. Or the correct Sedan Delivery rear door.
  10. Did you know that according to the song, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", Santa has twelve reindeer? Sure, in the introduction it goes "There's Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen..." That makes eight reindeer. Then there's Rudolph, of course, so that makes nine. Then there's Olive. You know, Olive the other reindeer used to laugh..." That makes ten. The eleventh is Howe. You know, "Howe the reindeer loved him..." Eleven reindeer. Oh, and number 12? That's Andy! "Andy shouted out with glee." The proof is in the song!
  11. Why not? The original kit came with those items. And seeing how Round 2 has done previous reissues, they seem to give us more stuff, rather less. I sur hope we get everything we got in the original version of this kit. If they throw in the stake bed, which was not in the original, that would okay too. But that I'm not expecting that.
  12. This is a big one I've been waiting for. Back where it belongs, under the AMT banner. This ones a big "for sure" buy for me. I love those early AMT Trophy kits. Especially back with their original style box art work, and close to their original content. An easy way to get money from me.
  13. Not my favorite Capri. ? But, if Round 2 ever chooses to reissue it I'd buy one. Slightly off subject, but it is still a mystery to me why the Mk I Capri was never done in 1/25 (or 1/24) scale?
  14. You are correct. My mistake.
  15. The trouble is I missed it the first time. I'm not sure my mother would let me have a model of a car called a Demon at the time. Since she's gone and I have my own house, I can now add one to my collection.
  16. I know it's old news. But, I do wish someone would do a '71 Demon 340. Revell? Round 2? Moebuis? I don't care who.
  17. Oh boy! I can't wait. I've been wanting the Ghost of the Red Baron forever. Missed it the first time it was out. (I don't think my mother would have approved of that one at the time. But since she's gone, I don't think she'll object too much now.) I'm glad to hear that Tom Daniel and Atlantis are working together to get some of his other kits back on the market. Maybe there is hope of seeing the Poison Pinto (the green version, please) and Mean Maverick hit the shelves again one day.
  18. The new Ford GT is something I didn't see coming from Tamiya. With Tamiya's quality, I'll be looking at adding one to my collection. I'm sure it will be a great kit.
  19. The '69 Chevelle and Firebird convertible, maybe. The rest really don't do much for me. I hope the Firebird comes with a 400 hood, rather the Trans Am hood that came with the last release.
  20. Picked up this kit a couple of days ago. It looks like a pretty good kit. The few subassemblies I've done so far, are going together quite well. But, I'd like to know a little bit more about both the history this kit and the real full-size bike. The present kit comes with several decals to make variations of this bike. What decals go with what other decals to make a "correct" variations of this bike? On the box, they indicate that the real bike was built from 1961, through 1968. So are there minor differences from year-to-year that these decals represent? The box or instructions give no clues on this. And searching the internet has not been much help so far, either. Who out there knows something about these bikes? And what variations I can build using the contents of this kit?
  21. I'm still please with the one I built a couple months ago. I had no major problems building mine. It turned out pretty nice.
  22. Very nice. I need to pick one of these up.
  23. Only the Riv and Garage Accessory kit look good to me this Round. I really don't need another '65 Riv. But, I love the box art, and have to build a custom based on that box art. The box art makes the '72 Nova more interesting. But, not enough for me to buy another one. Now they could reissue the Ventura II based on this same die.
