A pretty Hudson. Scott

A kit that has never really turned me on. But, I'm very impressed with the job you've done it. Very nice. Scott

Great job Bo, on one of my all time favorite Fords. And one of my favorite kits. Despite Revell's superior detail on their '57 Fords, I still like AMT's older kit. The Fairlane 500 are so classy. Love and low. What's not to like? Scott

Very cool. Great job on everything. Mainly the details. I'm very impressed. Scott

Now that is cool. Very well done. Scott

What do you call a pile of cats? A Mew-tain. Scott

Look forward to seeing both both. I've always liked the '68 300. I have the convertible promo of that one. Scott

Keith Marks decals
unclescott58 replied to bwmyers18's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Bought some decals from him within the last 6 months or so. His stuff is still some of the best. Scott -
I hope you decide to do a review of this kit when you get it. I would really like to find one that could be built like the version we got over here. I love those small bumper Celicas. Scott

I was glad you did make the show. It was nice seeing you again. Nice to meet your beautiful wife. And it was great to see your work in the flesh again. The '60 Dodge, and the detail you did on the interior in particular, blew me away. You well deserve the awards you got. I hope you keep coming to join us at the NNL North in the future. You do great work. And seem like a pretty nice person too. Scott

How about a 411 4-door? Believe it or not, but I've always liked that car. Scott

I'd like to see 1/25 or 1/24 scale VW Type 181. The Thing. Scott

What scale are these kits? Scott

That above ☝️is what I'm looking for. A nice factory stock Datsun pickup truck. Scott

Tamiya extra thin cement
unclescott58 replied to Dann Tier's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I tried a tube of the Hypo Watch Crystal Cement. It came with a thin wire built into the cap that went into the tube itself. When I went to put the cap back on the tube, I could not get that little wire back into the little hole it came out of! For that reason I was unable to use the stuff. Recently I've been using that Bondic UV setting glue. It's clear and does not effect clear plastic in any negative way that I've seen so far. At the same time, I still like Testors Model Master Cear Parts Cement. Been using that stuff for what? Twenty or thirty years now? With no problems. The Tamiya Extra Thin Cement? I only use that in early pre-paint subassembly work. Like other Tamiya products, I've been very happy with the stuff. But, have never used it on clear parts because of my experience with other similar cements in those applications. Last, I've heard, but never tried, dipping clear parts in something like Future floor polish before gluing. I've heard that if you do that, you can use "regular" model cement with clear parts. And the cement will not fog the clean parts then. I haven't tried this. So I don't know if it's true. I curious what others know about this? Scott -

Peterbilt Wrecker
unclescott58 replied to Silver Foxx's topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
What a monster! Very cool. Now I want one. Scott -
Just got my 1/25 Kenworth W900 Aerodyne in the mail today. Revell kit 85-1507. I like what I found in the box. I also recently got its sister, the 1/25 Peterbilt Model 359 Convention Tractor. Revell kit 85-1506. Very simple in many ways to the old AMT semi truck kits. Yet the details look pretty good on both. Like the old Revell/Monogram 1/32 scale semis, they look like they'll go together with few problems. And look nice in the end. Have start some subassembly and test fitting of parts on both kits. I pleased with what I'm seeing. Scott
