  1. Thank you Carl.
  2. A classic beauty.
  3. The Deora drag convertible kit, is basically the regular Deora kit with instructions to cut the roof off. And wasn’t that just released, with the last R2 reissued of the Deora, a year or two ago?
  4. What’s the history on these “canard”/side wings? In the past I was not a funny car fan when, or if, these were used on the real cars. Times have changed. I am now interested in getting all 4 of the above kits. But, I’ve never seen these side wings on any cars before.
  5. The model looks great. I’m not a big fan of Ford Probes. But, I do like your model. Nice job.
  6. Your model looks good. It brings up a question. I wonder who has the tooling for both the Big and Little Deuce kits? Revell of Germany, or Atlantis? And what does that mean for reissues of these kits in the future?
  7. Curling is another “sport” I just don’t understand. Hockey makes much more sense to me.
  8. For years I’ve had a bottle Future floor polish I’ve been using to coat my models. I know that a few years ago Johnson Wax quit making Future, and that their Pledge Floor Gloss was basically the same thing, and its replacement. Well, now it looks like they quit making that too. I’m just now running out of Future. So what do I replace it with?
  9. I agree. A remake of Duel or Bullitt would be a sin. There have been several more modern takes on Bullitt’s famous case scene. None of them as good as the original.
  10. Your model may not be perfect. But, I like it. As far as Dual goes. It still ranks as one of my all time favorite movies. I was lucky enough to see it the night it premiered on ABC’s Movie of the Week. I was blown away at the time. And still am every time I’ve seen it since. I like the additions they added for the later theatrical release. They added more good stuff to an already great story.
  11. There is no question in my mind that the modern four-door Charger is by far a superior car to the Chargers of the 1960’s and 70’s. Mechanically and in general operation. My modern, four-door, Chevy Cruise is phenomenal car. In functionality and reliability it is much better than any car I’ve ever own from the 1980’s, or further back. I still think my first car, a 1953 Chrysler New Yorker, was a much prettier car. And will always be look back on it through rose colored glasses. Despite the problems with the brakes and the 6 volt starting system.
  12. A four-door Charger. After all of these tears, it still doesn’t seem right to me. I’m still stuck in the past. This kit will never end up in my collection. At the same time, I hope it sells well. Making Round 2 a boat load of money and bring a newer generation into model building. It’s the right direction for them to go.
  13. Thank you for getting us back on track. And that above, I like.
  14. Wow! I love the above Geno. Great job. And that’s not discount the fine job Greg’s done his either. Still my favorite of Tom Daniel’s kits. “Stock”, his design. Or modified like yours and Gregs.
  15. Interesting, you bring up the “Bad Actor”. Tom Daniel makes no mention of that kit on his website. I believe this was a modification of his Street Fighter/Quicksilver that he had nothing to do with.
  16. Another Daniel’s designed kit I hope Atlantis has the tooling for, and someday will reissue, is the Mean Maverick.
  17. In general I’m not a huge fan of show rods either. Especially ones that would not be drivable in real life. I guess that’s why I liked Tom Daniel’s designs, especially his early stuff, they look like things you could still drive in real life. My favorite design of his is the “Street Fighter,” ‘60 Chev sedan delivery. I’d love to go cruisin around in something like that in real life. I have two Street Fighters in my collection. One I’ve built. And an unbuilt one autographed by Mr. Daniel, that Mr. Daniel himself gave me a few years back. One of my most treasured models in my collection.
  18. The model kit came out first, in 1971. The Hot Wheel wagon version followed a few years later.
  19. I’d love to see more books and magazines dealing with specific cars and trucks that were sold only in Canada. Things like Canadian only Pontiacs, Meteors, Monarchs, Fargos, etc.
  20. Thank you.
  21. Interesting look.
  22. Stunning job on the Riv. Beautiful.
  23. Two nice looking As. Though I like green one better than the red one. The color compliments the car quite nicely.
