  1. I would have sworn I comment on this one? Scott
  2. Were are the hot dogs and marshmallows, now that we got the fire lit? Scott
  3. Ray, can you tell us a bit about the Academy Corba kit you just bought. Now, I'm no Cobra expert. But, the car in the box art looks more like a 427 Cobra to me than a 289 like the box claims. And since your "cobraman", I'm hoping you can shed more light on this. Scott
  4. So Casey, what does this mean? Is it coming? Or not? Scott
  5. Very nice. I seem to like any Ferrari that has the name California attached to it. Scott
  6. ???? How does this relate to this thread? Start one on a Galaxie Trailer Contest if you wish. But, it seems a little random dropping the idea in a thread about Buick performance cars. Scott
  7. Again, this type of info is what makes this forum great. Thanks guys. Scott
  8. Looks great. Leave the "spats" (fender skirts) on. Helps give the car that low look. Scott
  9. For me, there is never a good time to say goodbye to summer. Scott
  10. Condolences. Sorry for your loss. Scott
  11. TJ the joke you told above is one of the worst I've heard in a while. But, it did make me laugh! Scott
  12. Welcome to the group. Keep it going. But, always remember to have fun. Scott
  13. Looks good. Scott
  14. So Jim, what did you put down for a base? If anything? Scott
  15. Two old golfing buddies were having philosophical debate about whether there was golf in heaven when you die. Neither could agree. So, they decide to make a pact with each other. Which ever one died first would come back in spirit form and let the other know who was correct. Well, a few weeks later one of them dies. The next night he appears to his buddy in spirit form. And he tells him, "I've got good news and bad news. Which would you rather hear first?" The living one says, "You know, I'm not feeling to well myself. So you better give me the good news first." His dead buddy says, "The good news is, that there is golf in heaven! In fact the most beautiful courses you've ever seen. The weather is always perfect. You can get on the course any time you want. And you always shot par or under!" The living buddy says, "Great! What's the bad news?" The dead one tells him, "You tee off at 10 am tomorrow morning." Scott
  16. A coworker just told me this one. Why was the strawberry sad? Because it's mother was in a jam. Scott
  17. One of the middle schools I work at is going to be displaying and using my 4D Vision model of a Saturn V as a teaching tool. (If you wish to see the model for yourself, you can see it under "all the rest".) Scott
  18. Ole and Sven went out and bought themselves a new Ford Country Squire, back when they were still available. When they got it home, they started stripping the fake wood off of it. When they were done Ole turned to Sven and said, "You know something Sven? I liked it better when it was in the crate." Scott
  19. I've wondered about its salability too. Especially the Cutlass Supreme. I passed on the 4-4-2 because of the hood with the scoops. This hood was optional on the 4-4-2s, and I never cared for it. I wish they'd reissue the kit with the option of building it with the stock hood. Scott
  20. Whoops I missed that one. It should read "stole" not "stool". Scott
  21. Sound reasonable to me. I like what they are doing and look forward to more of their stuff in the future. Scott
  22. I had to go back and look at my '71 Charger. And I was surprised to see that rather buckets and console, it came with a bench. Ertl did this on the '66 Riviera they tooled up about the same time too. I always thought this was odd, even on the Riv. The real cars were available set up that way. And I do know the real car they modeled their new '66 Riv after. And it was set up that way. I assuming the same was true when they were doing their new '71 Charger. To me bucket would have been perfered in either case. Scott
