Early bus motors were the same as the Beetles. Your have to find a later air cooled bus, I believe 1973 or later, to get the correct style engine for a Type 3. Scott

Talked to one of the old timers at the MCCM (Model Car Club of Minnesota) meeting tonight about the T body, and is it designed to fit the parts pack chassis? He seem to remember that fit together pretty well. And remember building the two together in the past. Scott

There's a great song about a rusty Chevrolet. I don't know the name of it. But, one of the lines is, "Dashing through the snow in my rusty Chevrolet." The songs goes on and sings about many of experiences a lot of us in the north country have had with rusty cars. Some other than Chevrolets. Nice model. It looks right. Scott

Oh.... I like the translucent red Charger funny car. I'd love to see Jungle Jim's '71 Camaro funny car done up like that. With maybe a Jungle Pam scale figure also in translucent clothing? On second thought, with the way Jungle Pam dressed, maybe we don't need the translucent clothing. Scott

I got two today too. One, AMT's '33 Willys Panel Truck. Very cool. Two, Revell's 1967 Chevy Camaro. Not as bad as others claim. There was some talk about the Camaro at tonight's MCCM meeting. Everybody there who has looked at it, like it. The only problem we can see is with the grille. And most didn't seem to notice it until it was pointed out. But, I and others would like to see an RS/SS version in the future. Make mine a convertible. Scott

The start of the future of a new type of model kit? I'll sure as the technology becomes more available, prices will come down. Will this open up modeling to more variety? Quicker releases of new issues? More accurate models? Maybe custom ordering the model you want? Who knows? But it starts here with things like this kit now. It will be interesting in seeing were it goes from here. Scott

I haven't looked at my unbuilt MPC/AMT/Ertl '69 Barracuda in a while. But, from what I remember, I believe those are stripes/decals that come with the kit. If not I would check with Keith Marks. I'm sure he must make them. Scott

By the way, the MIG-3 looks a lot like a P-51 Mustang. When did the real plane come out? Before or after the P-51? And how was its performance compared to the Mustang? Scott

I only use a brush for very small things. Other wise I spray paint. I love Tamiya's spray paints. I've had very good results from them. Scott

What the heck? That's a paper model? I assume your using an outside source, and fan or something, to blow on and rotate the propeller? Impressive. Scott
