Kinda of gives it a classic Jaguaresque look for a different kind of cat. It'll be Bright Blue metallic like my dad's real Cougar he had. Like the one pictured, which is Not my dad's, just that color.

Fantastic Jim, I have the Monogram '70 GTX in the works.

Looks great to me. I'm doing one of those conversions as well. I'm using the Monogram '64 GTO chassis to make a stock '66 Chevelle out of the Monogram Chevelle Street Machine, it's coming along quite nicely.

It's just in the preliminary stage but I'm building this as a more or less stock '66. The hood has been modified to stock and I'll be using a Monogram '64 GTO chassis as they shared the same wheelbase with the wheels, tires and engine from the '70 Chevelle kit. Just wanted to go a different route and have a 1/24 Chevelle of my favorite year. It'll fit in great with my diecast collection.

Way cool Mark. I too love this kit and built it box stock as a kid. I'm working on one as well. I'm posting pics in the On the workbench forum.
